It’s no secret I’m not the biggest fan of posting my own face on here but it’s important for me to share!
Here’s a very vulnerable post to educate you all the importance of a consistent skincare routine and sun exposure.
My generation worshipped the sun like the generation that came before us. We used dark tanning oils, baby oil and iodine, reflective blankets, tanning beds, etc. I grew up thinking I needed to “get burnt” the start of every summer to start my base tan. Woof, if I could turn back time. When we know better we do better!
Anyway, these photos are a progression of my own face taken sporadically over months in between to show the progress I’ve made lifting pigmentation. I’ve used mainly brightening/lightening serums, intermittent retinol, and superficial peels (no sheet peeling, mostly flaking).
Tyrosinase Inhibitors really work but they require consistency. Using results-driven skincare that is proven to create change in the skin is your path to corrective treatments and your daily SPF is your insurance for healthy, protected skin ✨✨
Btw- Beholder turns 1 today! I’m so grateful that I took a leap of faith and invested in myself. It’s been one hell of a first year of business but I’ve learned so much and I cannot wait to share what is upon the horizon ✨✨
