A lot has been announced in 4 days which is just another way to prove that as Wellness Advocates, we’re ALWAYS working to improve the lives of as many people (and pets!) as we can.

In a monumental opportunity for dōTERRA (and with help of Dr. Talbot and scientists), we now know and understand the pathway of essential oils which is something that has never been done before!

Dr. Talbot and the team of highly-accredited scientists (making independent observations), worked tirelessly to compare dōTERRA’s oils to other companies, including where they are absorbed, how they are used, where they are metabolised, finding nutraceutical effects on biomarkers, detecting antioxidant activity, and so much more.

In short, dōTERRA competitor oils did not replicate these antioxidant properties which means that dōTERRA oils robustly stimulate therapeutically relevant effects which are associated with whole oil, not the individual components.

We are also taking our Medical Advisory Board international with several physicians in the UK, Japan, Taiwan, and China!

As you’re aware, dōTERRA has come out of obscurity and has helped essential oils become a mainstream model of personal health. With this international board and the help of the Prime Meridian Health Clinics, we will be able to continue to stand resolute the benefits of oils.

What a privilege it will be to work with amazing individuals who look not to turn away from medicine, but to improve it!

The Huntsman Cancer Institute focuses on prevention and provides cancer education, services, and outreach to all of the 29 counties in Utah, the Mountain West, and all 50 states.

They offer specialized care for the mind, body, and spirit, before, during, and after cancer treatment. In fact, over 1,000,000 individuals have been educated at their community health events alone!

Their advanced programs for cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment, 45-50 new inpatient rooms and expanded infusion space, and expanded breast care services and clinic space for cancers specific to women provide plenty of reasons they deserve the $5,000,000 donated by the one and only, dōTERRA!

I’m also proud to let you know that dōTERRA has joined forces with the Rapha House in Haiti to create the largest aftercare facility yet - entirely funding this project!

Haiti has one of largest per capita children living in slavery and the statistics are staggering... UNICEF reports that one million children disappear into slavery globally every year!

Now, we going to combat kids living in slavery one child at a time.

We’ll take great strides forward alongside of government and organizational sectors so kids can live alongside their families for generations. We’ll have high walls and round the clock security with the goal that the girls will feel as though they are part of a family that they belong in.



The girls will live and prosper in neighborhood-style cottages, each fully staffed with a home for 8-10 child survivors. We’ll have one cottage specifically for mothers with babies, as well.



But it doesn’t stop there… there will be expansive grounds with lots of places to run, play, and dance as we want each and every survivor to regain their childhood that was stolen from them.



We’ll be preparing them for sustainable freedom and future with an educational building and a counseling and art therapy center.

The very best part? The entire complex is designed to take in beautiful mountain views and the kitchen and dining hall where they will be fed will be stocked with healthy options so they can be nourished both via the mind and body.

It’s an honor to be working with 3Strands Global (who works to educate teachers, parents, and students about human trafficking) as well as Mentors International (who provides 14,000 microloans and 10,000 new jobs in Ghana, Guatemala, Peru, and the Philippines which offers hope for future generations).

As Tim Ballard, Founder & CEO of Operation Underground Railroad says, “6 million children worldwide are in some form of slavery. Together, you and dōTERRA have helped us tremendously to find these kids.”

We’ve truly stepped up to end the suffering of 2,000,000 children from sex-trafficking and we have big dreams of combating this issue with increased awareness, rescues, and an amazing after-care facility unlike any other…

We were also gracious enough to have Hugh Jackman perform live for us! He followed his AMAZING performance with some truth regarding essential oils and how his family loves them.

One of his most memorable quotes at the convention was, “Good business is good for everyone. If it’s not good for everyone, it’s not good business.”

Hugh Jackman sure gets it!

One of the most exciting moments of the 2018 Dream Convention for many Wellness Advocates was the announcement of the Veterinary Advisory Board.

The Board will be completed this year and will work towards clarifying any confusion when it comes to safely using essential oils with pets and livestock of all sizes.

Some highly accredited members on the board include:

- Dr. Janet Roark DVM from Texas who owns a mobile vet service and started using dōTERRA in practice in 2014.

- Dr. Mia Frezzo DVM, owner of an animal hospital in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ and is co-author of SpOil Your Pet: A Practical Guide To Using Essential Oils in Dogs and Cats.



- Dr. Janis Fisher DVM CCRT from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia who is passionate about acupuncture and canine sports medicine.

- Dr. Larry McCaskill DVM CVA who practices at a vet acupuncture practice in the New Roads, Louisiana area.

- Dr. Jeanette Yamamoto DVM, an Oklahoma State graduate and small animal vet who practices north of Los Angeles and has incorporated oils into pet’s health plans for the last few years.



This is HUGE news and I’m THRILLED to know that this is coming to fruition as we all want to help our pets thrive as naturally as possible!

Essential oils are becoming increasingly popular in a variety of markets, especially to 22-36 year olds who are extra conscious consumers and value products that reflect their ideal lifestyle.

As part of a millenial’s ideal lifestyle, essential oils and natural based products are quickly moving the top of the chain.
