Please join us in welcoming Dr. Kathryn Kekenes Peterson to the Welcome Wellness team! We are so excited to have a doctorate in nursing as well as a healing touch practitioner on board!
Dr. Kathryn Kekenes Peterson is an advanced board-certified Holistic Nurse with a doctorate in nursing practice; she is a certified Healing Touch practitioner.
She loves partnering with clients in achieving their health and wellness goals, offering personalized guidance and support on their journey to optimum wellbeing. Research has shown greater achievement of personal goals with support and guidance.
She offers Healing Touch (HT) as part of supporting and balancing the client’s system for holistic care. HT frequently places the client in a very relaxed or parasympathetic state, an optimal state for self-healing, rejuvenation, and restoration. HT can decrease symptoms of pain, anxiety, stress, depression and be supportive in cancer therapy and operative care.
In her free time, Kathryn enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, and gardening. She treasures time spent with her family and her two rescue kitties.
