This page is supported and maintained by Lynn Rossy, Ph.D., Health Psychologist at Healthy for Life, The T. Atkins Wellness Program at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Tasting Mindfulness offers support for people wanting to have an enjoyable and healthy relationship with their food, their bodies, their minds, and ultimately their lives. It grew out of a ten week program entitled “Eat for Life” that was developed by Dr. Lynn Rossy and Hannah Bush, M.A. and is offered to faculty and staff at the University of Missouri, as well as members of the community. It incorporates mindfulness, the intuitive wisdom of the body and mind, and educational components that support our efforts to be more healthy and conscious about our actions and behaviors. Dr. Lynn Rossy expanded this philosophy into the Tasting Mindfulness community, which uses social media to support people across the world in their quest for a healthy relationship with their food.
