The soothing bath tea that helped heal me up 🩵 Last week I got hit with an awful allergic reaction - incredibly itchy, awful rash all over my body, I could hardly sleep because it was so uncomfortable and I was absolutely miserable 😭 the doctor really wasn’t much help so I had to figure out how to deal with it myself. When it comes to itchy rashes, my preference for care is soaking the affected area. So, my partner and I created this blend.
The bag of flowers is a combination of chamomile, calendula, chickweed, rose, & lavender, the other bag to the side is a combination of colloidal oats, baking soda, a bit of dried coconut milk powder, and Epsom salts. I made the tea, poured it into the bath along with the other ingredients, added a dash of lavender EO and laid in the bath for 20-30 minutes. After that, I felt so rejuvenated and relaxed I was able to immediately take a 3 hour long nap after barely sleeping for days. It truly was a life saver for me & my sanity!
If youre ever struggling with a flare up of eczema or another itchy skin condition, I highly recommend you get some herbs together and make a blend for yourself! If you don’t feel like making it but you’re interested in acquiring any, reach out! I made a batch with & without the coconut since I know many people are sensitive to it! I also did not add the EO to the dried mixes to be conscious of sensitivities there, as well.
