Listen to the latest meditation: Who Am I?

We begin with activating the parasympathetic nervous system by taking deep inhalations and exhalations. Then we drop into the body be feeling all of the bodily sensations, activating the WITNESS to observe all sensations without giving meaning to any of them.

We follow with the contemplation: If I am not my mind or the thoughts it creates and I am not the body and the sensations it feels, then Who Am I?

We then bring the awareness to the heart center, visualizing our favorite bloom and seeing this bloom blossom petal after petal. The bloom then grows to unite with all of the other blooms creating this beautiful bouquet with this amazing scent.

We end with a calm mind, grounded body and open heart.

Today in the Healing Room - Listen to Joseph as he talks about THE GAYATRI MANTRA

Mantra comes from the Sanskrit words "manas" (mind) and "tra" (tool), indicating that it serves as a tool for centering the mind. It is an utterance, sound orgroup of words regarded as a sacred formula that,when practiced regularly, acts as an instrument for raising one's consciousness.

These mantras are the gifts of the rishis (seers) who reside in the Himalayas, receiving these mystical utterances in order to elevate human consciousness. The most well-known mantra is Om; the second most prominent mantra is the Gayatri Mantra.

Today in the Healing Room - Listen to Joseph as he talks about ARCHETYPES II.

Due to the popularity of the first Healing Room talk on Archetypes, we delve deeper into the power that these Archetypal patterns have in our lives and why it is so important to delve into the shadow aspects of these energies and bring them into the Light of Consciousness.

Archetype is a term brought into our collective awareness by the psychologist Carl Jung. Archetypes are universal symbols and patterns that represent aspects of the human psyche influencing one's personality, identity and behavior.

According to Jung, Archetypes reside within the collective unconscious, possessing varying qualities depending upon the patterns they represent.

They may exist as a shadow aspects such as the Wounded Child, the Seducer or the Victim or they may exist in an exalted state such
as the Golden Child, the Lover or the the Spiritual Warrior.

These patterns and symbols reside within the personal unconscious or the subconscious. Learning about and understanding the Archetypes
is a very significant part of the healing process as the shadow aspects of these energies consume considerable vital force.

When we move from the shadow aspect to the exalted aspect of the Archetypes, we take back our power and energy which allows us to live in the world with greater balance and wholeness.

Join Joseph Aldo in the CHAKRA ILLUMINATION meditation that supports the activation and balancing of the chakras.

We begin with activating the parasympathetic nervous system by taking deep inhalations and exhalations. Then we drop into the body be feeling all of the bodily sensations, activating the WITNESS to observe all sensations without giving meaning to any of them.

We follow with the opening of the chakras in the back and front then moving down the body igniting the root chakra as it roots deep into the earth. Then we move the earth energy up the legs and torso into the upper chakras, activating the third eye and crown.

We then bring the awareness to the heart center, visualizing our favorite bloom and seeing this bloom blossom petal after petal. The bloom then grows to unite with all of the other blooms creating this beautiful bouquet with this amazing scent.

We end with a calm mind, grounded body and open heart.
