I’m honored 🙏🏽 to be invited by 👸🏻🐻 Black Crow Sharon Oxendine to be in sacred service to her community this Saturday, April 25, from 10 AM–4 PM at Medicine Wheel Way for a beautiful Earth Day Celebration 🥹💛🌻

We’ll be calling in our elemental relatives 🌬️🌎🌊🔥 and gathering in remembrance, reverence, and reconnection ♾️

I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to support this celebration by offering my healing frequencies and soul-centered presence to the community. Come join us as we remember the parts of ourselves we may have forgotten 😌

Reflecting on the time at 🥰☀️ where I had the honor of co-creating a space for healing through a self-care sound healing session for students, faculty, and staff—and received flowers from a participant that truly touched my heart 💛🌺

I also witnessed deep vulnerability and connection during the final RISE Student Retention Panel, where women shared their lived experiences to inspire real change.

In 2024, WNC GEMS hosted a community listening session with at Maple Crest Apartments focused on how residents can advocate for community resources through City Hall.

Our councilwoman, , came out in support of the initiative.

I’ll never forget a few of the elder residents sharing that they didn’t even know where City Hall meetings were held or that they had the right to speak during public comment.

Sometimes empowerment is simple. It’s showing up. It’s sharing clear information. It’s reminding people that their voice belongs in the same building where they pay their water bill.

I was sharing with the photographer 👸🏻✨ about my adornments called Elekes — sacred African prayer beads consecrated by the one and only 👸🏽✨ Each necklace carries the energy of an Orisha from the Yoruba tradition.

These are more than jewelry — they are living, energetic spiritual tools that support transformation in the deepest, most profound ways.

Wearing them is about honoring tradition, ancestors, and the protective forces of the universe ✨

Raising my young queen 👸🏽 breaking cycles and creating space for choice 😌 No faults to project—my parents did their best with what they had, and from their love and my pain, I create purpose. I give her options, freedom, and the power to choose her own path. Watching her explore, with the crystal bowls, reminds me that I’m her first leader, mentor, friend, and role model 🫡

They are a beautiful mentorship program devoted to uplifting and supporting teen girls through guidance, belonging, and community care. I’m grateful to share space with an organization doing such meaningful work.
