📣WELCOME TAYLOR TO THE COACHING STAFF🐻. Taylor is a movement specialist and strength coach with decades of experience working at the intersection of strength training, manual therapy, and mindfulness. She has pursued advanced study with Bob Cooley, Liz Koch, and more recently Edythe Heus, and draws from a rich breadth of disciplines including yoga (with certifications in Alignment, Katonah Yoga, Kundalini and Vinyasa systems), Chinese medicine theory, Body-Mind Centering, Alexander Technique, martial arts, mobility, and functional, primal and developmental movement patterns.
Her work is grounded in understanding the fascial matrix as the organizing framework of the body — the connective web through which pressure systems, fluid dynamics, biomechanics, hormones and lived experience all converge. Taylor helps clients understand that the shape they are in is not fixed: our experiences, habits and choices literally mold us, and conscious attention can literally reshape us.
Whether she’s working with you in a group class or one-on-one, Taylor’s goal is the same — to help you uncover your body’s innate capacity for organization and integration, and to witness the moment you make that connection for yourself.
