Judy Smith is the Program Coordinator of Aquatics and Fitness at Pemi-Baker Community Health, a Plymouth, NH based non-profit agency that serves 13 rural NH communities. She also owns and operates Mill No. 3, llc in Ashland, NH where she teaches sound and movement based fitness classes like Drums Alive, Pound Fit, and Sole Power Fitness (tap dance fitness) and also runs private events there. Judy believes that fitness should be safe, fun, meaningful, stress relieving, and of course a good workout! Judy loves working with all fitness levels but, she especially loves to introduce people who "hate" exercise to sound based movement classes using drum sticks or tap shoes! She works with special needs adults in the pool and with the "drums", older adults, but, because of her fun approach, her classes appeal to all ages from those in there 20's and up to 70's+! Judy is married to Tim, an architect, for the past 26 years and together they have three sons ages 21, 16, & 8! She is proud of her boys accomplishments including an Eagle Scout, a Civil Air Patrol Cadet Staff Technical Sargent & Cyber Patriot NH state champion, and a hockey player! They live in an old late 1800's farmhouse that they have lovingly been restoring over the past few years! Judy also is a Steeped Tea consultant after thoroughly enjoying the amazing tastes of high quality loose leaf tea. She runs tea tastings and tea parties at Mill No. 3. She gets so excited when people taste great tea for the first time and also enjoys teaching simple tea rituals to incorporate into everyday life! Judy is an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, She is also Certified as a Pound Fit Pro, Drums Alive Instructor, Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance, Matter of Balance Master Trainer, Remember When: Fire and Fall Prevention Master Trainer, She is also CPR, AED, CPO, Lifeguard, & First Aid certified. i
