Congratulations to Cheryl Boring on 50 years working at Ashley Health Care Center! She has certainly left her mark over the years. She has seen many changes come and go, including residents, families, and staff, yet she has had the strength and diligence to hold strong to her roots. Cheryl started when the actual nursing home was next door and worked as a CNA for 28 years before transitioning to Housekeeping/Laundry at the new building. We have all joked that she probably helped lay the brick to build this place 😁. Cheryl stated that working here over the years was familiar to her, as she is a creature of habit and felt comfortable; it was like working with her second family. We have no words to express our gratitude for Cheryl's dedication and loyalty, which are astounding. Her attendance is impeccable, her work spotless, and it glows with the pride she takes in her work. Cheryl's passion is something we can all strive for in our careers. We are grateful to have her on our team! Keep up the great work! We appreciate you, Cheryl!
