We had the most extraordinary experience as we hosted a ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ in Nosara, Costa Rica, last month.
Lead with Love Founder and Director is a person who loves the waves and the sea as much as the mountains and skis so heading down to Costa Rica mid winter was a no brainer.
As we conceived of this retreat we decided it was a perfect opportunity to bring a ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฌ to honor the very special caregivers in our lives as we focus our work here at Lead with Love more and more on ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ. ๐
It was an incredibly enriching experience for mothers and daughters alike with plenty of free time, but also some deep ritual consulting with ๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ (and those wise mothers by our sides!) and even reflecting back from our final days to think of what we would want our eulogy to say and to write letters now to those we love.
Each day is a gift and we never get that day back so having time and space to connect with dear friends and mothers was just what the doctor ordered! ๐ฅฐ

We are feeling full of love and hope from the extraordinary experience of attending the Winter Olympic Games in Italia this week. ๐
Watching the opening ceremony last night we are reminded of our ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ as humans and global citizens. ๐
Our strength is in our unity and in our pride in hard work, perseverance, sportsmanship and brother/sisterhood. No athlete makes it to the Olympics alone. Every single athlete is supported by a team and a country and even though we are in competition with one another it is in the spirit of camaraderie that true greatness emerges.
To witness the dedication, resilience, respect and mastery of the athletes and organizers of such an extraordinary event is awe-inspiring! ๐คฉ
We are particularly inspired by the words of President of Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 and the theme of Harmony of these Olympic Games and the words of UN Ambassador of Peace Charlize Theron at the Opening Ceremony:

Many of you may remember that super fun, incredible bash we had when I, , turned 40 at Doerr-Hosier Center at Aspen Meadows.
It was 4 days of love and laughter and wisdom channeled from some of the best teachers I had had the privilege of learning from and I wanted to share it. ๐๐ป
Here we are in 2026 and all of a sudden I feel old. Luckily I have a lot of friends kicking butt in their 50โs and 60โs so I know there is hope that life at 50 can be fabulous, but seriously it is just kind of shocking how is Gina Bambina going to be 50??!!
We have a LOT of fun stuff brewing this year. ๐ซ

Our founder met the twice-homeless, self-made billionaire John Paul DeJoria at our first ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ in 2016 at the . He was a guest and an unknown to her, but moments after meeting him and his radiant and gracious wife, , she invited DeJoria to be a speaker at our event the following year. He was that compelling, passionate, authentic, and articulate. And, he did present at our ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ in 2017. During his talk, he spoke about forgiveness, suggesting the simplest and more radical approach: โJust let them be right.โ ๐๐ป

At Lead With Love, we have spent the last three years focusing on improving wellbeing for our community. Weโve piloted and implemented over 20 programs under the name โProject Wellbeingโ affecting hundreds of people with our partners at Pitkin County, City of Aspen, Aspen Valley Hospital and Aspen Community School. We are proud of our work and we will soon expand this service work locally and globally.
We believe what you focus on grows. With the success of our annual leadership summit, Lead with Love, weโve felt an energy with this movement that feels very alive, joyful, relevant & impactful. The mantra โLead with Loveโ guides us individually and as an organization everyday. It is what we aspire to and what we work towards and weโve heard from our community that this phrase and movement is something that touches and inspires them as well.
WE EXIST TO SHIFT CULTURE FROM FEAR TO LOVE.
We do this in four ways: Our Annual Leadership Summit in Aspen, Global Retreats, On-line and in-person Trainings and Service, which is where youโll find โProject Wellbeingโ and all of the programs we do there with many more in the pipeline.
