Now is the time to do this!!!
During the cold months, we can treat your leg veins with laser. This is the best time of year because we don’t have to worry about the hyperpigmentation that the sun will cause as the legs are healing. Usually only a few treatments are needed for a satisfactory result.

I try to demystify aesthetic treatments, lasers, dermatology; you might get a glimpse of my life here in NYC as well. I hope I help and at the very least, entrench you.
So happy you are here.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if side effects of included a feeling of well-being and euphoria? Alas, side effects include ( and are not limited to):
😔 risk of depression, anxiety, even after stopping
👎 decreased libido
😬Risk of gynecomastia in males
😲Small risk of high grade prostate cancer.
Important note- these side effects were also noted in the PLACEBO GROUP! ( for ex- decreased libido was reported in 2% of the finasteride group compared to 1% in the placebo group)
Impotence was also a side effect. Also note some of the data collected was for the higher dose used for benign prostatic hypertrophy not for hairloss.
Anytime we choose a course of treatment, doctors and patients must weigh risks and benefits. These must be discussed with the patient who has final say in what they decide to do.
We have yet to include in our counseling of patients, the risks and benefits of the foods that we choose to eat. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see the risks, benefits, and side effects of foods on their packaging?
Just some .
I hope you all treat yourself a little better today! For more about health and beauty advice follow along!

I’m born and raised in NYC USA, w Greek roots. I feel like NYC has its own culture. Its why I speak Spanish, ( where are my peeps from PR and DR at? ily)
Before I had kids, I was taking regular Spanish classes and I hope to go back to it when they’re older. I can finally learn those future and more complicated past tenses……
I love being rooted in NYC so that I can get the best of the entire world here! Where else can you get greek coffee and Pão de queijo for a snack and soup dumplings for dinner?
Where are all my cool followers from all over w hobbies and foods that they love from other countries? Please post your flags and languages!

Every year I challenge myself because, why not? This year it will be ! You are witnessing my first ever attempts.

It’s tough to feel your body aging. I used to dance 8 hrs a day; I could trust my body to keep going. Now, I have to be more respectful of rest days and how I care for myself. What I don’t do, is give up, or stop doing something that I love.

There is no alternative to aging; none of us are getting out of here alive. Don’t tell yourself you’ll make the time later- do what you want to NOW. Wear the ‘fancy’ clothes NOW. Spend the entire day w your kids or friends watching movies and snacking. Dance as much as you can while you can. Learn a new thing (I’m so excited that I learned to ski in my 40’s!) .

So I encourage all of you to challenge yourselves with me! Write down your goals in a comment below! I will share my progress on the stories!!!

While UV treatment is used medically in dermatology to treat a variety of dermatosis, including psoriasis, as well as cutaneous T cell lymphomas, that treatment is mainly due to its immunosuppressive effects.
Some people may notice that after some sun, their acne seems to be a bit better. This is also due to the anti-inflammatory effects. These results tend to be inconsistent and not worth the harm that is done to the skin in the process.
Please think in the long run !

Contrary to popular belief you can place 4 to 5 syringes in someone’s face at a time and still get a natural looking result!
STOP PITTING FILLER IN THE NASOLABIAL FOLD!!!

02/24/2026

Yup, only laser was done here!
Yet it LOOKS like filler was done too!
When you improve your skin, you improve everything !
