❤️ Valentine’s Day Celebration – Love on Pier 39 ❤️
As part of the Spread the Love Astoria umbrella, the celebration includes a free, family-friendly Valentine’s Day celebration on Saturday, February 14, from 12–5pm on Pier 39.
The Pier 39 event features a festive lineup 🎶 including professional photos and creative photo opportunity stations, Valentine-making crafts, hot cocoa, music, food, shopping, and interactive installations such as a Tunnel of Love, kissing phone booth, and Heart and Cupid mascots. We will have our resident officiant on hand from 12-1, show up with a valid marriage license and get married to your Valentine. 💝
Love Lock kits will be available for purchase at the Love Locks Booth for $20 each. Love Locks are a symbolic tradition where participants write a message and lock their love by attaching a heart-shaped lock to special cabling installed on Pier 39, creating a shared moment and lasting memory overlooking the Columbia River.
Each Love Lock kit includes a lock, marker, Pier 39 sticker, and access to a first-come, first-served love or friendship ceremony and professional photo by Justin Grafton Studios in front of Astoria’s iconic heart. Two dollars from every Love Lock purchased supports the Hanthorn Cannery Museum on Pier 39, helping preserve Astoria’s historic cannery and maritime heritage.
The Valentine’s Day celebration is open to all ages and designed to be playful, inclusive, and welcoming for couples, families, friends, visitors, and pets alike.
