I started this page when I turned 50, which was almost 2 years ago now. The last year and a half has been rough; perimenopause has got to be as tough a season of life as the teenage years. ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Iโ€™m a โ€œfixerโ€ and my nature is to figure out why a problem is happening and then how to fix it. This has humbled me. Iโ€™ve learned to not only accept change, but to accept that it is CONSTANTLY changing!! I hope the coming year brings me more answers and peace. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Š

Itโ€™s been a while since Iโ€™ve posted. Letโ€™s talk perimenopause. Itโ€™s trying to kick my a$$, but Iโ€™m not letting it get the best of me. Iโ€™m trying to roll with it and remind myself that this too shall pass. Itโ€™s only a season of my life.

I completely changed my life over seven years ago. Joined a new gym, changed my eating habits and my mindset. I was 42. Iโ€™m turning 50 next month and Iโ€™m overwhelmed at how much my body has changed in the last year and a half. Perimenopause has set me back, but Iโ€™m not letting it win! Iโ€™ve had to change my lifestyle AGAIN to battle these changes. Completely changing my workouts has thrown me for a loop mentally, but Iโ€™m settling in. More than anything, Iโ€™ve come to realize that life is CONSTANT change. Embrace it!
