Denim Day originated in 1999 in response to an Italian court ruling that overturned a r**e conviction. The court ruled that the victim must have consented because she was wearing tight jeans. Women in Italy's Parliament protested by wearing jeans into the parliament chambers. Join us in the longest standing sexual violence prevention campaign as we wear our jeans in solidarity to support survivors of assault. We’ll show you ours (see below). Now you show us yours! 👖
