🎓 Celebrating Our Future Caregivers! 🩺

Starr Regional Health & Rehabilitation (SRHR) was proud to host the latest Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) graduation and luncheon at Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Athens (TCAT).

During the ceremony, Wallace Stutts, SRHR administrator, and Brittany Cook, RN, staff development coordinator, presented each graduate with a certificate of completion and CNA pin — including Aubrey Patterson, our very own hospitality aide at SRHR.

“We are extremely proud of all the graduates and look forward to seeing Aubrey grow her career in patient care with us,” said Stutts. “CNAs are the heart of healthcare — compassionate caregivers and patient advocates. The bonds they build with patients are vital to healing and well-being. They make sure every patient feels seen, heard and loved.”

A heartfelt thank you to Renee Murphy, culinary and nutrition director at Starr Regional Medical Center – Etowah, for catering the event and making the celebration extra special.

👏 Congratulations to all the graduates — your journey in healthcare is just beginning, and we’re honored to be part of it! If you want to learn more about joining the SRHR team or becoming a CNA, call us at 423.263.3785.

After a life-changing diagnosis of re**al cancer, Kelly faced months of chemotherapy, radiation, and uncertainty. But on June 3, 2025, everything changed—thanks to robotic-assisted surgery at Starr Regional Medical Center.

“Because the surgery was minimally invasive, my recovery was super quick. I felt great afterward. I was able to go back to work, my digestive issues improved, and I finally started gaining weight. If robotic-assisted surgery is an option, I highly recommend it.”

Kelly’s story is a powerful reminder that high-quality care doesn’t have to be far from home. With surgical technology and a compassionate care team, Starr Regional is proud to offer minimally invasive procedures that help patients heal faster and get back to what matters most.

“Robotic-assisted surgery gave me my life back.”
