“Many people get stuck in their lower body in an attempt to protect themselves, ignore their pain, or out of stubbornness for a lack of wanting to connect with deeper spiritual versions of themselves.

Other people become stuck in the higher realms, focusing solely on “love and light” or overthinking to the extent that they disconnect from their feelings, missing the essence of the human experience.

The sweet spot is right in the middle. Using the heart space as a bridge, a space that is both body and spirit, a place that is both feeling and conscious, we are able to fully experience this life. This is living in the spirit. From here we can learn to, not ignore our desires and needs, but rather to open up to them with compassion and understanding as to why they exist in the first place. We can consciously analyze and observe our thoughts and our patterns and then bring them down into the body to feel and experience in order to process the emotions that go along with them.”
