The Lightway Ladies had an incredible time this Saturday at the “Rooted and Radiant” retreat at Lake Lanier Lodge! It was such a meaningful day filled with encouragement, connection, and growth.

A special thank you to the amazing women’s ministry at Johns Creek Baptist Church for hosting such a beautiful and uplifting retreat. Your heart for serving and pouring into others truly made a difference!

We also want to give a big thank you to Shana for taking the ladies and leading a pour paint community class, what a fun and creative experience for everyone involved!

Grateful for opportunities like this that allow our ladies to grow, connect, and shine. 💛

Thursday we celebrated something incredibly special—Brittany’s ONE YEAR of sobriety! 🎉

Throughout her journey at Lightway, Brittany has faced hardships that could have easily shaken her path, but she never allowed them to deter her from her recovery. Her strength, perseverance, and commitment have been nothing short of inspiring.

It was an honor to present her with an engraved chip to mark this milestone. A symbol of the dedication, courage, and growth she has shown every single day.

Brittany, we are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished on your journey. Your story is a powerful reminder that no matter the obstacles, recovery is possible. We can’t wait to see all that’s ahead for you! 💛

Today we celebrate Dominique and an incredible milestone—her completion of the year long program at Lightway Women's Recovery! 🎉

Her journey has been marked by strength, perseverance, and a deep commitment to both faith and recovery. Watching her grow, overcome challenges, and step into who she’s meant to be has been such a blessing.

Now, she’s taking the next step and moving into Above the Waves, continuing her path of healing and growth. We couldn’t be more proud of all she has accomplished and the determination she continues to show every single day.

The North Metro Baptist “Salt Shakers” chose Lightway as their April mission, and we are so blessed by their generosity. Not only did they donate many items from our wish list—directly helping us better serve our residents—but they also took the time to come tour, learn about our mission, and connect with what God is doing here.

It means so much when people give, but also truly show up with open hearts and a desire to understand and support. Their kindness and enthusiasm made such an impact on our home.

To the Salt Shakers—thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. You were such a joy to have, and we are beyond thankful for you! 🙏✨

So grateful for a beautiful Good Friday spent together. ❤️ Our Lightway women had the opportunity to attend service Gwinnett Church, reflecting on the sacrifice, grace, and hope we have been given. Moments like these remind us how powerful faith and community truly are. ✝️

Join us in celebrating Candi and an amazing milestone! 🎉

Yesterday, a Lightway Alumni, Candi officially graduated from Floyd County Accountability Court, such an incredible accomplishment. After completing the Lightway program in December, she has continued to put in the work, showing determination and growth every step of the way.

It has been an honor to stand beside her and partner with the wonderful Floyd County Drug Court team throughout her journey.

Candi, we love you and are so proud of everything you’ve achieved. The future is bright, and we are cheering you on every step of the way! 💛

This past Sunday, we had the joy of watching Brooke-Lynn’s baptism at Sugar Hill Church 💙

What a beautiful moment of faith, surrender, and new life. Watching her take this step was such a powerful reminder of God’s grace and the work He is doing in and through her life.

Yesterday we had the joy of celebrating Kara, and what a special time it was! 🎉
Kara is truly someone who gives so much of herself to others, day in and day out. Whether it’s through her encouraging words, her willingness to step in wherever needed, or the way she consistently shows up with a full heart, she makes a lasting impact on everyone around her.
