Yeah, we read a lot of books, listened to a TON of worship music, and graduated some ladies we're super proud of. There's no way we could fit the amount of generational change that happens at Lightway into a wrapup.

WARNING: Today's Self Care Sunday is intentionally designed to jolt you from the tryptophan induced stupor of the holidays and shake you free from shopping and sales and the need for more, more, more.

Today's Self Care Sunday, we'd like to share what we're reading. This foundational gem helps women identify lies, replace them with truth, and retrian their thinking through God's word. Every week we see hearts transformed, minds renewed, and lives changed. We are walking around living Romans 12:2 out loud and it's beautiful.

We're thankful for our family day a couple weeks ago. We're thankful for the sisterhood here at Lightway. We're thankful for the curriculum and coaches partnering with us through recovery. We're thankful for sponsors and volunteers who dedicate time, finances, and resources to this program. You are creating generational change.

So, yeah -- today's Self Care Sunday hits a little different.

The power of forgiveness is a blessing. And it isn't saved for those who "deserve" forgiveness. No, forgiveness is something you GIVE FREELY because holding onto bad vibes and discontent drags you down. As Elsa would say, "let it go."
Reconciliation, is forgiveness on steroids. It's a healing balm, that when applied with gentleness, grace, and patience restores relationships. It's slow. In a world where we value speed and efficiency, there's no shortcut for reconciliation.
Thank you, Lauren, for reminding us of the importance of reconciliation and restoration. We're grateful for you!

We love when like-minded partners come to visit! Love what you do for our community Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett

Our Good Samaritan Health Centers of Gwinnett team had the privilege of visiting the beautiful Lightway Recovery Wellness Center for Women in Flowery Branch. Their staff welcomed us with such warmth as they shared how they walk alongside women on their journey toward healing, stability, and renewed hope.

During our time together, we also had the opportunity to mention our Access Academy Medical Assisting Program as one of the career-pathway options available to women seeking a fresh start and a renewed sense of purpose.

We are deeply grateful for community partners like Lightway Recovery Wellness Center for Women who are committed to restoration, empowerment, and walking in faith as they serve women daily. We look forward to continuing to build this partnership in ways that uplift the women they serve and help open doors to brighter futures.
