Get To Know Your Doula: Poetry!

I’ve always loved to write and even perform at times. In school, I would participate in competitions and the poetry assignments in English class were some of my favorites.

Since moving to Georgia I’ve found community in these poetry and spoken word spaces and have even gotten up a couple of times to perform some of my own.

A virtual doula provides emotional, educational, and motivational support via phone, text, and video calls. Virtual doulas are a great resource and still provide many of the same benefits that in-person support does.

Due to hospital policies and the pandemic virtual services have skyrocketed but there are other reasons why a virtual doula might be a good fit for you too!

Get To Know Your Doula: The Outdoors

Though I am a doula serving the Atlanta area I am originally from Oregon. The love for being in the outdoors and connected with nature is a piece of me I will never lose. I love spending time at parks, near bodies of water, in the mountains, and on the beach. I love it all! There is so much to learn from Mother Earth 💚🌍 She is one of my greatest teachers.
