Today’s world 🌎 fails to recognize the true desire and nature of these dogs, each and every specific breed from a sight hound to a mastiff has or had an original purpose. Neglecting the dogs instinctively bred abilities is only fair to the general public not the dogs. Retrievers want to retrieve, hounds want to hunt, Grey Hounds want to run, Collies want to herd , Bulldogs want to fight . All dogs created in our hands with no choice but to be what they are should be allowed to do what they were naturally bred to do or close to it. No this doesn’t mean I condone fighting your pitbull but it was it’s purpose, which is why it’s NOT a pet, nor do I condone placing dogs unfit for working situations in them. Either way as always for and to the benefit of the dogs we have fun and engage ALL aspects of the dog 🐕 💯‼️

BARk does it’s best to provide QUALITY WORK every session, by recognizing where the dog is in its training and what the owner and trainers desired results or goals are. We don’t single handily work the dog we do our best to come in twos ✌🏾, to not only keep the dog hot/engaged but to compliment one another’s short comings for the benefit of the dog. Ensuring each dog walks away with a win ‼️
During this session we saw a lot of progress and learned some things about the dog to be corrected next session. Exposing holes in the dog prior to labeling them as “Personal Protection “ dogs is vital, no dog walks away with the BARk stamp of approval without firs breaking through ALL thresholds and exhibiting TRUE desire to protect and work. Given the age and stage of this Dogo in his protection progress he’s doing very well, it’s evident he didn’t realize until today the “BAD GUY” can and will try and HURT you.
Gonna work some more sends and harness work and build even higher confidence in this boy with a change of environment AND THEN re-introduce some pain! The ONLY direction is forward for both the dogs and our goals. Nothings been BROKEN , nor will it be if we can’t BUILD em we DONT break em 💯👍🏾‼️

It’s never my recommendation or advise to work dogs with out wearing PROPER EQUIPMENT, but if you do just REMEMBER there’s always a risk involved. With that being said I trust the trainer here and you can see the level of control the dog possesses and communication between handler and dog, @pbtrainsallbreedsall has been breeding , training and handling dogs longer than most of us have been in the game. It’s always a joy to walk his yard see what he’s cooking up @thek9madscientist . We have very similar interest and understanding when it comes to dog and dog behaviors and enjoy testing the abilities and willingness of each one.

I’m posting this as a follow up from my earlier post explaining that it’s the RESPONSIBILITY of the Owner to continue engaging the dog in both training and routine in order to build and mold the dog into the companion or working dog you would like.
So again here’s me with one of my own dogs who I’ve been training and I’ve gone from having her off leash to on, found she’s reluctant to “STAY” on leash , and my handling skills were off helping encourage poor positions and timing. So after reviewing this video i made adjustments the NEXT day. You can ALWAYS get better and the dogs CAN always learn new things or the right way. The point is you won’t know if your not working daily and it’s NEVER the dogs fault if you’re not getting the results you want , it’s ALWAYS the owner or handler. So don’t rush your pups , take your@time and take the pressure of your Dog and Trainers and place it back on yourselves, the dog didn’t ask to come to your home and we the trainers didn’t make you get them but I promise you the right attitude and consistent work as a responsible dog owner will take you far and the Dogs WILL love , appreciate and recognize this.
