Long post alert!
I am so HAPPY AND GRATEFUL Today marks a year that I survived an Aortic Dissection! As it was happening I thought it was a heart attack as my throat expanded and I had a sharp shooting pain in my right arm, but it was that my main artery ruptured from my pressure being so high. Luckily I was able to contact help as it was happening. If not for and his fiancé answering his phone and coincidentally being close by I wouldn’t be here today and I was not far from Emory hospital at the moment. I’m sharing this because we often don’t pay attention to our blood pressure and the things that cause it it is definitely a silent killer. As men we don’t like going to the doctor but fellas check in with your primary forreal!
While in the hospital recovering I lost a lot of muscle mass and weight.
