It was truly an honor to speak to the amazing kids of Southwire Company’s 12 For Life. Thank you, Tina Glenn , for the invite and introducing me to your incredible class of kids!

I spoke about the beauty of being a “Purple Cow.” It’s a book and saying that was introduced to me by the amazing, Ed Oakley, during a time when I needed it the most… and it stuck. So much so that 2 years later, I’m still referring to the “Purple Cow.” It’s a saying that we use at Apollo Occupational Health on a regular basis to refer to how we should treat each other, our clients, employers, community partners, and our patients. Last week, I attended my first Purse Bingo hosted by the fabulous Heather Froy and the incredible Kid’s Chance team. This event was an absolute blast! So much fun, in fact, that I decided the ladies of the West Ga area needed in on the fun as well!

Golden Purpose is a non-profit with a mission to support hardworking families in the Carroll and Haralson Counties by providing resources and opportunities that enrich the lives of their children, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours.

We are adjusting our hours this week to allow our staff to enjoy their holiday with family and friends. We will be CLOSED Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th.

Share Your Shine is a program focused on collecting pajamas for West Ga children involved in the Backpack program at their schools!
