Hariyali Sabudana Vada Recipe (English)
Ingredients:
1 cup sabudana (sago), soaked for 4–6 hours
2 boiled potatoes (mashed)
¼ cup roasted peanuts (crushed)
½ cup fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
¼ cup fresh mint leaves (finely chopped)
2 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 tsp grated ginger
Rock salt or regular salt to taste
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp cumin seeds (optional)
Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Soak sabudana for 4–6 hours until soft. Drain excess water.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine soaked sabudana, mashed potatoes, crushed peanuts, coriander, mint, green chilies, ginger, salt, lemon juice, and cumin.
3. Mix well and form medium-sized round vadas.
4. Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry the vadas on medium heat until crisp and golden.
5. Serve hot with green chutney or curd.
