4 years ago today was the end of my Chemo treatment. I fought like hell to ring that bell. Your prayers and continued support helped me get there. Thank you all for continued support with the periodic phone calls, text messages etc checking on me. Love ya?!

This is 54! My birthday will always have significant meaning because in addition to it being the day I was born, it also marks the end of my Chemo treatment. I'm thanking God for allowing me to make another trip around the sun and I remaining Cancer free!

Good Morning Team!

My detour has finally come to an end. Since there are no more anticipated cancer treatments/surgeries scheduled, I decided to do a makeover.

I needed a new look to go along with this robust feeling of a new me.

I've been on this detour since March of 2021 and now it's time to get back on the main road and head straight towards bigger and better things.

I had to shed my hair to begin the detour. Now, I've cut and colored it to end it and signify...


Looking forward to what God has in store for me!

Please continue to keep me in prayer to remain in good health and cancer free!.

I will continue to keep you updated on this jorney towards continued good health.

Hey Team!

Today, I had my follow up from my surgery. I wanted everyone to know that our prayers have been answered!

THERE WERE NO CANCER CELLS FOUND IN THE MASS THAT WAS REMOVED.

Praise God!

Doc said I am healing well and continuing on the road to recovery. Still have stitches, pain and discomfort so I still have to take it really easy for the next several weeks...but God is so awesome.

I want to thank all of you for your prayers, messages and phone calls.

I will continue to keep you updated on my progress.

Good Afternoon Team,

I made it out of surgery and I'm at home resting. Surgery went well. Now we wait. Meanwhile, this surgery was a little more intense than I anticipated. Im in pain y'all! 😮So I'm definitely going to be I for the next several days. I'm using every piece of medical equipment that have been given to me since my mastecomy

Good Morning Team,

It's been a minute since my last post and that's actually a good thing. I've been doing well. Today, I heading in to what I pray will be the final surgery of this detour. Please say a prayer for me this morning that all goes well and Dr Ma can get all of this scar tissue removed and that all results from testing are nothing but good news. I go in at 7:30am...keep me in prayer

Hey Y'all! I'm coming baaack! Working on getting my strength back to a pre-cancer level. The DIEP Flap surgery from this summer definitely had me overwhelmed during recovery. This is definitely a marathon and not a sprint. Yet, GOD is still in control. I appreciate all the periodic calls and texts messages from everyone. They keep me focused on how well I'm doing as opposed to what I've been through. I am just going to continue to focus on living my best life and staying

Well I am definitely improving. Had my 7 day follow up yesterday and I'm doing well. Only one drain was removed but the wound vac is gone. Thank God! Now just continuing to heal. All I can do is sit. If you know me then you know this is driving me nuts......put its what I gotta do to get betta. So I'll just enjoy my back patio. Continue to pray because it is definitely working.
