Open Enrollment starts tomorrow and we haven’t reached our fundraising goals to support community outreach/education/enrollment services. Your contribution pays for our website being built out as an Open Enrollment informational resource and connector tool for LGBTQ+ friendly health services. It also allows us to print/distribute palm cards at bars, clinics, coffee houses, etc with the basics regarding deadlines & eligibility. Help us reach our goal, donate today! Each year, CommunityScape helps LGBTQ+ Georgians navigate the health insurance marketplace and enroll in affordable plans. Our services are reliable, friendly, and always free to the public. We specialize in connecting individuals living with HIV to programs that help cover the costs of monthly premiums.

Your contribution helps us assist hundreds of individuals during Open Enrollment through one-on-one appointments and community education events. Our goal is to raise $5000 during the month of October to propel us to a successful Open Enrollment season, which begins November 1st.

*CommunityScape is a registered 501c3 organization and all contributions are fully tax deductible.

**CommunityScape staffers have provided health insurance marketplace assistance to LGBTQ+ Georgians since 2013, originally providing services through The Rush Center until the time of its closing.

CommunityScape Services is so thankful to the Atlanta Pride Committee for awarding us a Community Reinvestment Grant. Because of this grant, we were able to support many folks throughout Georgia with enrolling in and learning how to use health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace/ACA.

We believe access to health care is crucial. This work saves lives and makes those lives have better health outcomes!

This event is for service industry folks so come get some preventive health care, biometric screenings, and connection to health resources in the community!

Food Service Workers!

In community partnership with AbsoluteCare Medical Center & Pharmacy, our own Darie LK Wolfson and James Parker Sheffield will be at The Giving Kitchen on Sunday 10/10 for their Pop-Up Doc Event. We will be sharing information about enrolling in insurance through the ACA.

Additionally, there will be FREE health services for food service workers, including biometric screenings, COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, mental health services, and PrEP screenings.

The event will be at Giving Kitchen, 970 Jefferson St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 on Sunday, October 10 from 1-5.

Please note, this footage was recorded before the COVID-19 pandemic. Future Pop-Up Docs will adhere to CDC guidelines to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
