Matt celebrated another milestone🎊🎊🎊!!! He took his first trip without dialysis thanks to the new kidney. God is good!!! You have no idea what goes into planning a trip and having to coordinate dialysis in it. Along with the day or days it takes away from him being able to enjoy the trip due to the way dialysis made him feel. Although he’s still recovering and dealing with the things that come with a kidney transplant….no dialysis is something to celebrate.

Happy Feel Good Friday! I’m happy to report that Matt is doing much better today. He’s in great spirit, he’s been singing and dancing in bed. He just finished singing “Remember The Time” by Micheal Jackson. We had our own karaoke 🎤 party😂😂😂. Of course he’s still dealing with some pain. However, I’m grateful that he can smile and laugh through it. God is good! Thank y’all for the continued prayers and well wishes. I hope each of you have a feel Good Friday💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾!

Yesterday Matt was able to walk a lap and ring the recovery transplant lap bell🎉🎉🎉!!! We are so grateful for this victory and the new kidney. Today Matt isn’t feeling well. Send your love and we’ll wishes❤️🙏🏾🤗. I know he’ll enjoy reading when he gets to feeling better. God is faithful and we are taking it day by day.

Matt has a kidney!!! Last night my partner, my baby, my sweetheart Matt got the call from the transplant team that his name had come up on the list and that they had a kidney for him!!! Some of y’all knew he was dealing with stage 4 kidney disease/renal failure and some didn’t. It’s has been a journey and Matt has suffered for years. He’s been a trooper through the dialysis treatments and all. I praise God!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾, hallelujah to his holy name for this huge unexpected blessing!!! Thank you God for answering the prayer that I prayed everyday. Thank you God for this miracle!!! Matt just came out of transplant surgery and everything went well. He’s recovering and he has a kidney!!!
Thank you to all my family and friends for the prayers. And I thank each of you in advance for the prayers and well wishes. Please keep the prayers going for Matt🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️ for his complete healing and recovery.

I’m praying for the donor’s family as they loss their loved one🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Please keep them in prayer🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.

This has been an emotional journey and still is. I’m crying happy tears, tears of relief, etc.
