Hi, friends! I haven’t been able to post graphics here since July “for security reasons”, as the error message states. I have a feeling this is a negative little someone reporting my page. I’ve tried to deal with this multiple times, but have had absolutely no help. If you have any recommendations for me, please let me know. Otherwise, just see my personal page and/or website for my latest updates!

Did you know that scientists can measure the electromagnetic fields around the body? They can, and the device they use to do this is called the superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID). And Dr. Samuel Williamson of NYU states that the SQUID offers more information about the state of brain functioning than a normal EEG! 🤯

Here’s an important energetic principle that we need to keep at the forefront of our minds every single day: WHAT YOU RESIST PERSISTS. I was in a stressful situation today, feeling like I was on the verge of a panic attack. I didn’t want to feel the discomfort of thinking of the situation, so I kept trying to shove it down and ignore it. I soon reminded myself, “why are you resisting this discomfort?? FEEL it. Allow the energy to flow, as it needs expressed.” Once I did this, the anxiety very quickly subsided.

You see, what we resists persists. When we find ourselves in situations that make us uncomfortable, anxious, angry, etc, it’s okay to feel these things. In fact, it’s the most natural and healthy thing we can do for our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies so that energy doesn’t get stuck and wreck havoc on us down the road. So much in life and in spiritual circles we hear, “You attract into your life what you think about, so think good thoughts!”. And, although this is true in many aspects, we are humans with emotions for a very good reason. Our emotions are like compasses that show us what and where we need to heal. We need to feel these emotions to heal them... Because: what you feel, you heal.

So, next time you’re in an uncomfortable situation, give yourself permission to see and feel the discomfort and surge of energy like a wave. Every wave has a beginning, rises to a peak, and decreases to an end. Allow your mind to ride the wave. It will end. And you will feel better having felt it.

And remember: what you resist persists; what you feel you heal.

“I’m convinced that when my patients use sound and meditation to achieve a sense of peace & spiritual ease, they also strengthen their bodies, which enables them to handle the side effects of whatever medical treatment they’re undergoing and advance the process of healing—emotionally & immunologically—that is as essential to their recovery as any drug or therapy I might offer them.”

Sound is insanely powerful! In fact, the most powerful sound healing tool you have is your own voice. And it’s FREE.

Back in 1967, a group of 90 or so Benedictine monks from a monastery in south France became ill. Men who had been used to sleeping four hours a night and working all day had grown irritable, lethargic, exhausted, and susceptible to illness and disease. Over a period of time, numerous doctors were called in and not one of them could understand what was happening. It turned out, back in the mid-1960s as part of a “modernization” effort, the Second Vatican Council cut back chanting in monasteries. Chanting was firmly embedded in their lifestyle and had been for hundreds of years. It defined their days and nights and was a constant companion in everything they did. Finally, French audiologist Dr. Alfred Tomatis was called to help the monks. Knowing how important sound is to life and to the human body, when he found that their customary practice of 6 to 8 hours of chanting per day had been stopped, Dr. Tomatis immediately had them reestablish their daily chanting practice. They soon regained their health, their depression lifted, and their energy returned.

Dr. Tomatis recalled:

‘I was called in by the Abbott in February, and I found that 70 of the 90 monks were slumping in their cells like wet dishrags… I reintroduced chanting immediately. By November, almost all of them had gone back to their normal activities, that is their prayer, their few hours of sleep, and the legendary Benedictine work schedule.’

His conclusion was that Gregorian chant is capable of charging the central nervous system, along with the cortex of the brain, thus having a direct effect on overall happiness and health.

However, modern science is proving that this phenomenon does not belong strictly to Gregorian chants— you can accomplish the same with simply humming. It is of the voice, the vibrations resonating within you that are the power themselves. If you’ve read this far, give it a try. Close your eyes and hum to yourself for a few minutes, then open your eyes and ask yourself how you feel! You will thank me! 😘
