WE ARE HIRING: Admissions Coordinator / Marketing

The Cottages at Rockmart is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Admissions Coordinator / Marketing professional to support census growth and guide residents and families through the admissions process.

This is a non-clinical role and does not require a nursing license.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of healthcare knowledge, customer service, and marketing experience, with a strong ability to build relationships and coordinate a seamless transition from hospital or community referral to admission.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as the primary point of contact for referrals, admissions, and census development

· Build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and community partners

· Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families

· Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process, including:

o Referral review and acceptance

o Insurance verification and authorization coordination

o Medical record collection and documentation

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a smooth and welcoming admission experience

· Track and manage referral activity, conversion rates, and census trends

· Participate in external marketing efforts, including outreach to hospitals, healthcare providers, and community organizations

· Support residents and families throughout their stay, assisting with communication and transition planning as needed

Qualifications

· Prior experience in skilled nursing, healthcare admissions, marketing, or business development preferred

· Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance processes is highly desirable

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple referrals and deadlines

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment
