🌟 Official Announcement 🌟
I’m deeply honored to share that I am stepping into the role of Board Chair for PADV – Partnership Against Domestic Violence. This isn’t just a title—it’s a calling.
For 50 years, PADV has been a safe haven, a fierce advocate, and a lifeline for survivors of domestic violence in Georgia. As we celebrate this milestone year, I’m committed to helping lead with bold vision, unwavering compassion, and fierce determination to end the cycle of abuse.
Every survivor deserves to be heard. Every child deserves to feel safe. Every home deserves to be free from fear.
💜 PADV’s mission is clear: To end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower survivors to reclaim their voices and rebuild their lives.
✨ But we can't do this alone.
Whether you’ve been personally impacted, know someone who has, or simply believe in creating a world where love does not hurt—you can be a part of this movement.
🙏🏽 Please consider visiting www.padv.org (http://www.padv.org/) today to make a donation, learn more, or find ways to get involved.
Let’s build a future where everyone has the chance to live and love in peace.

🌟 THREE-PEAT WINNER! 🌟I’m beyond honored (and still doing a happy dance 💃🏽) to share that Brave Spaces Counseling has been named Best of Dacula 2025—for the third year in a row! 🏆🏆🏆

This award means so much because it reflects the heart of our mission: creating brave spaces for healing, growth, and transformation. Every session, every story, every breakthrough—we do this together.

📸 I’m also dropping a sneak peek from my new photoshoot (because stepping into new seasons deserves a fresh look, right?)

And speaking of new seasons… BIG things are ahead! We’re preparing to expand into new spaces—both physically and virtually—to serve more individuals and families on their healing journeys.

Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for believing in brave healing. And thank you, Dacula, for embracing what we do.

✨ Here’s to more brave spaces, bold healing, and beautiful beginnings.

If you didn’t grow up with secure, steady love learning how to feel safe with others can be confusing.

You might flinch at kindness.
Push people away before they can leave.
Or silence your needs because you were taught they were “too much.”

That’s not dysfunction. That’s survival.

But healing is possible.
And healthy attachment doesn’t mean being perfect or never triggered it means feeling safe enough to stay, to speak, to soften.

It means knowing:
💬 You can say what you need without fear.
🫶 You can be held, without having to earn it.
🧠 You can trust yourself to choose better this time.

If you’re working on this you’re doing something brave. Something that rewrites generations.

✨ Four years ago, I stepped into the world as a newly minted Doctor—full of purpose, faith, and a deep desire to make a lasting impact. I prayed that I could help others heal and grow, leaving each person better than I found them.

Today, that prayer is unfolding in ways I couldn’t have imagined. 🙌🏾 My practice is thriving, lives are being transformed, and I’m deeply grateful to walk in my calling and purpose every single day.

I love the work I do.
I honor the healing I’ve experienced.
And I’m humbled to be used by God to help others walk through their trauma with courage and hope.

This journey has been a blessing—and it's only just beginning. 💫

🌪️ When Life Spirals, Spiral with Purpose 🐏
The ram’s horn doesn't spiral by accident — every twist has meaning, every curve holds power.
Your chaos can be like that too.
Not random. Not wasted. Not meaningless.
Blessed are the spiraling. ✨

When the whirlwind hits, anchor your soul by choosing how you spiral:
1️⃣ Stick to the plan God gave you.
Don't rewrite your calling in a storm.
2️⃣ Peel away the extra.
Clutter can’t travel where God is taking you.
3️⃣ Interpret your struggle accurately.
You're not finished. You're being forged.
4️⃣ Retool for the coming season.
New battles need new weapons — prepare wisely.
5️⃣ Attack the problem from all angles.
Faith plus action. Prayer plus perseverance.
6️⃣ Look for the beauty in the spiral.
(Levi Lusko - Blessed are the Spiraling)

Brokenness can birth breathtaking things.
You are not unraveling —
You are being shaped. Strengthened. Readied.
🕊️ Trust the spiral. Trust the Sculptor. Keep going.

Dear Future Me,
You have worked so hard to be where you are. Don't let anyone try to dim your light. You do not have to be less so others can feel like more.
You are sitting at tables you never thought possible. Embrace it all and leverage your knowledge to do the most good.

Encourage Professional Help if Needed:

If your child shows signs of ongoing distress—such as trouble sleeping, changes in appetite, or withdrawal—don’t hesitate to seek professional help. Therapists trained in trauma can provide tools to heal and move forward.
💬 Remember: You are not alone in this journey. Reach out to school counselors, local mental health services, or community support groups if you need guidance. Together, we can create a safe and healing space for our children to grow and thrive.
You’ve Got This. Brave Spaces Start at Home.

Healing after a tragedy takes time, but with love, patience, and support, your child can learn to process their emotions and find their way back to peace.

🚀 The 3 D's to Leadership Success 🌟
Great leaders thrive on these three pillars—Discernment, Determination, and Discovery—to pave their way to success. Here’s how YOU can incorporate them into your journey:
✨ Discernment: Sharpen your decision-making with these practical steps:
✔️ Carve out time for daily reflection or quiet moments.
✔️ Surround yourself with wise mentors and advisors.
✔️ Pause, reflect, and listen before taking action.
🔥 Determination: Fuel your drive to lead with purpose:
✔️ Set clear, actionable goals to keep you focused.
✔️ Define your "why"—the reason behind your hustle.
✔️ Face challenges head-on and view them as growth opportunities.
🌱 Discovery: Never stop exploring and learning:
✔️ Ask insightful questions and dig deeper for answers.
✔️ Commit to lifelong learning—leadership evolves, and so should you.
✔️ Stay grounded and humble as you grow.
Leadership isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. Which of these 3 D’s will you work on this week? Let’s discuss in the comments! 👇💬

🌸 The Gift of Grace: Embracing What We Don’t Deserve 🌸

Grace—it’s a word that carries the weight of heaven. It’s the unmerited favor and love of God, freely given, not earned or deserved. Grace meets us in our brokenness, uplifts us in our struggles, and empowers us to keep going when we feel we can’t.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul reminds us of God’s words:
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

And in Ephesians 2:8-9:
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Grace isn’t about perfection; it’s about dependence. It’s God saying, “I love you just as you are, and I will meet you in every place you fall short.”

As we embrace grace, it compels us to extend it—to ourselves and others. How often do we allow ourselves to rest in the reality that we don’t have to strive for love or worth? How often do we freely forgive as we’ve been forgiven?

💌 Take some time this week to reflect and journal:
1️⃣ Where in my life do I need to let God’s grace cover me?
2️⃣ What areas of my heart or life am I still trying to earn God’s favor, instead of receiving His grace?
3️⃣ Who in my life needs the gift of grace from me, and how can I offer it to them?
4️⃣ How can I remind myself daily that God’s grace is sufficient, even in my weaknesses?

Let grace be your foundation as you move forward. Rest in its assurance. Reflect on its beauty. And allow it to transform your relationships, your heart, and your life.

✨ What does grace mean to you? Drop your thoughts in the comments or send me a message—I’d love to hear how God’s grace is moving in your life. Let’s grow together in His love and truth!
