Balance + Joy This Holiday Weekend
It’s the holiday weekend, and listen, we’re still getting it together. This isn’t about restriction. It’s about being intentional so we can enjoy, feel good, and stay aligned.
I’m not skipping the fun, but I am holding onto the habits that help me feel like me.
Here are 5 things I’m keeping in mind to stay balanced through the weekend:
1️⃣ Start with your non-negotiables.
Before the cookouts, fireworks, or family gatherings, I’m making time for:
✔️ Drinking water
✔️ Taking my Noni
✔️ Moving my body
✔️ Personal time with God
✔️ Prepping something nourishing
✔️ Prioritizing rest
2️⃣ Don’t skip meals trying to “save up” for the party—it backfires.
3️⃣ Build your plate with intention. No guilt, just balance.
4️⃣ Bring something you feel good about eating or drinking.
5️⃣ Savor the moment, not just the food. Memories > macros.
You don’t have to pause your wellness to enjoy the weekend. You can choose both joy and alignment. 💛
