“Had an amazing time at the Birth Expo on March 22nd at Life University! It was so inspiring to connect with fellow birth workers, from doulas to midwives, and have meaningful conversations about supporting families through every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

One of the biggest takeaways? The need for more access to midwifery care and home births in Georgia! Families deserve more options for safe, evidence-based, and personalized birth experiences. I’m so grateful to be part of this growing movement for better birth choices and stronger support for midwives.

🤝 Connecting & Supporting New Moms in Cartersville!

I had such a wonderful time meeting up with Deanna from Latch With Love Lactation! It was so great to connect and hear her vision for supporting new moms in our community. Her passion for helping families navigate their breastfeeding journey is truly inspiring!

We’re both excited to be offering valuable resources for expecting and new parents in Cartersville:

🍼 Breastfeeding Meetup – Hosted by Latch With Love Lactation every month, providing a supportive space for moms to ask questions, share experiences, and get expert guidance.

On February 27, Nikki and Tim met their beautiful daughter for the first time, and I had the absolute honor of supporting them through this journey. 💕 From the onset of labor to the first snuggles, every moment showcased mom’s incredible strength and resilience. Capturing these memories was such a joy, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of their story. 💫

Dr.Q was excited to connect with Savannah from The Savvy Doula! She is based right here in Cartersville and is a wonderful resource for our families!

Savannah partners with a nonprofit called The Global Doula Project. They work with families to help them raise money for their doula care. The Global Doula project matches every donation you receive dollar for dollar. These funds can be used for birth doula care, birth photography, or postpartum care! How cool is that? Hellooo birth dream team!!

I had a wonderful time at Truett McConnell University teaching a class on childbirth! This is one of my favorite ways to teach people about the muscles in the uterus and the hard work that’s required to give birth. Thanks to my volunteers who participated in this exercise, and to Dr. Hochmuth for inviting me to speak on a subject I’m so passionate about! ❤️
