🗣🗣Everything she says below💕💕
My ancestors built the Western Hemisphere for FREE and generations of physical and mental torture. Welfare is not a reparation. This country paid everyone else back for the torture they enforced by the US. It’s time for African Americans. We’ve received no land, no money, no mule. Yet we popped up with all this money during a pandemic??? Really??? Despite poverty and racism, I had to play harder to get to where I am and still have to pay back student loans!!! No inheritance bc I’m just 4 generations from the plantation. My great grands, grandparents, and mother lived through Jim Crow‼️‼️
My business is 95% supported by black dollars. I am sooooo grateful for that💕💕💕💕💕 We have to support our businesses or who will???
When non blacks make a deliberate effort to do business with me then they can say they are not racist. The only way we can move up in the race is by economic empowerment. I thank all those non black people for making that choice. You are part of the change in our country💕

We love our anthem, BUT I don’t need this country to make it our national hymn. Not at all. Not until reparations moves beyond a conversation. Not until we can vote without suppression. Not until the justice system reforms.

BECAUSE THAT IS WHEN VICTORY IS WON.

That stanza was written by James Weldon Johnson to push us to keep going, keep fighting, and keep resisting until we meet the dreams of MLK, the freedom of Harriet, and the Black body is treated as sacred.

WE NEED PROGRESS OVER PAGEANTRY.

Dr Martin Luther King, Jr will never be forgotten for his push for equality for African Americans during the painful Jim Crow era in the South. He did this through peaceful protests. His efforts resulted in the Voters Act of 1965. He was assassinated and taken from us too early. However his fight for equality lives on. RIP

Folks always see me in scrubs so figured I show a lil skin 😂😂Ten years ago‼️ 39 yrs young at my fave place…St Maartens Le Oriente Beach. This bar got washed away during the last hurricane. Memories💕
Crazy bc I had to wear the hat bc I just got there from St Croix where I had ablative laser to my forehead to get rid of keloids from my car accident. However, I had a shot and kept smiling..
Tryin to get my body back. I’m not perfect either but not bad 🤣🤣 I’ve been fortunate to be happy the way God made me. If a man don’t like it, then that was always his problem and not mine. If a woman wants to criticize then she simply wasting her energy on good ole me. 😎

It’s the old see the glass half full mentality‼️ I always see a silver lining. Yay.
Sad that toooo many people are stuck complaining wayyyy too much that they sink further into what may be holding them back. The time you take to stay negative, you could be working on the resolution. The brain can’t be creative with a gloomy outlook.
Stay positive. Periodt. Think.

THAT PART‼️We are supposed to reach down and pull up…but be careful. Remember no emotions. Don’t be hurt. It’s part of the process. If it was easy everyone would do it. It’s what makes you unique.

Most respect higher education and the opportunities it can offer if applied.
There’s always some who don’t respect the journey of an intellect or a scholar. They don’t respect the value of an expert. They fail at the inspiration.
Fact: some people look at the instant or fast gratification. Those years of professional experience cannot be stolen from me nor those 10 years of higher education.
Often times small minded people only look at the shiny penny and get blinded by the luster. They don’t understand nor can see there’s not much value bc they are blinded by the shine. Fools are born everyday. They focus on the immediate gratification and get greedy. Life is a marathon and not a sprint. Sprinters will get tired first like the tortoise and hare. The “slow” runner who took their time and studied for years and worked to become an expert will win in the long run.
Be careful “get the bag” chasers bc you end up simply chasing your tail and will get stuck in the same position.
Fact remains that 10% of RNs in the US are black. Only 1% of nurses have a PHD or Doctoral degree. Only a tiny number of us are considered scholars. It’s only right for me to mentor and teach. However these folks need to respect the 👑👑 and know there is no way you can deserve what’s on my table for me unless you put in work. I’ve saved hundreds of lives with my own hands and mind. I’ve been a provider for hundreds providing a comfortable transition from life to death. THAT PART‼️
Again….education needs to be upheld and respect due. Wax on and wax off til it hurts. Put in the work and the blessings and what’s owed to you will overflow.
Not Miss Welch….Dr Natasha is just fine for me.

At Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The best 6 month experience of my life
I would deliberately wear a Hijab for a couple reasons:
1. So men wouldn’t be inappropriate when they addressed me (a lot of times men over there thought I was an African pr******te when uncovered and there’s a stereotype that Western women are “easy”)
2. It was beautiful
3. I didn’t want to comb my hair
4. The men interested would give me utmost respect and special treatment to show their interests 🤣🤣
4. To immerse myself and appreciate the culture
5. Why not cover my assets and leave something to the imagination
6. Most important: to respect the Muslim religion. I also never wore revealing or over sexual clothing while there. I personally enjoyed the Emarati culture and people. Cleanest place I’ve ever visited
