This year didn’t just pass—it shaped you. Carry the wisdom, release the weight, and enter the new season ready to flourish.

We braved the chilly weather and came together as a community for our final community walk of the month—and it was filled with joy, laughter, connection… and yes, a few chills ❄️💚.

As we walked, we had meaningful conversations about how to enter 2026 with intention and clarity, setting goals to achieve optimal, sustainable health. We talked about the foundations that truly matter:

I stopped letting the scale define my health—and everything changed.

This journey isn’t about the number anymore.
Those days are over.

From April to December, the scale moved from 179 → 165, but what matters more is what you can see here—and what you can’t see on a scale.

✔️ ~6 inches lost across my waist and body
✔️ Lean muscle preserved
✔️ Improved body composition and metabolic health, such as reverse prediabetes from 5.7 to 5.5 and LDL from 129 to 107.

What you’re seeing is the result of weight wellness, not diet culture:

Today, I bless the Lord for the gift of 50 years on Earth.

What a blessing.
What a journey.
What a testimony.

I do not take any of it for granted.

Every season — the highs, the lows, the in-between — God has used it all to shape me… refine me… grow me… and make me whole.

Every person who has crossed my path — every single one — has added a layer to my life.
Some taught me love.
Some taught me strength.
Some taught me courage.
Some taught me to surrender.

And I am grateful — deeply grateful.

I thank God for my darling husband, my beautiful children, my loving mom, my siblings, my in-laws, cousins, friends, and every precious soul that has been part of my story.

You have all enriched me in your own unique way — and I don’t take it lightly.

God has been faithful.
He IS faithful.
And He will continue to perfect all that concerns me.

So today, I lift up a sound of praise.
