📊 What’s AMH — and Why Do I Check It in My Fertility Labs?
If you’ve ever wondered “How do I know if I still have good eggs?” — this lab helps us start to answer that.
AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) is a hormone made by your ovaries, and it gives us insight into your egg reserve — think of it like checking your fertility fuel gauge.
💡 I include AMH in every fertility consult because it helps me:
• Understand how your ovaries are functioning
• Customize your supplement and hormone plan
• Map out your next steps — whether that’s natural conception or IVF prep
But here’s something really important to know:
👉 Low AMH does not mean you can’t get pregnant.
It’s just one piece of the puzzle — not the full picture.
✨ Even with low AMH, we can work on improving your chances by focusing on:
• Hormone + egg optimization
• Mitochondrial support (the energy source of your eggs!)
• Gut health, stress, and inflammation
• Targeted supplements like CoQ10, NAC, and inositol
• Supportive lifestyle shifts
