PSA……
I’ve had multiple people reaching out to me about my Thanksgiving Dressing….
Unfortunately and unexpectedly, my husband has just had to have open heart, triple bypass surgery and only been home from the hospital for a week…….
I had planned to try to offer my Dressing again this year, before all this started but unfortunately with his recovery and the sheer amount of Dr appointments and therapies that they have him scheduled for, I’m just not going to be able to since I’d need to be starting any day now to get everyone’s done and frozen in time for Thanksgiving…..
Last year I was already preparing it by now and still was pressed on time 😞
I’m so very sorry to have to cancel this year but SO very appreciate each of you for your past support……

What an incredible night with my guys !!!
Every time we serve them my heart overflows ❤️
Hot chocolate and Hugs should be our weekly theme-
One of them told me I was like a little mama bird out there taking care of them and I replied- I AM !!!
Because I love y’all and want to make sure you’re taken care of !❤️
They’re still blown away that anyone cares about them let alone loves them; but we do……
The wind was vicious and the cold bitter but it’s so funny because we never feel it and they just don’t care; they just want fellowship and love and will stand out in it and talk just as long as we Will, then go into the store and reheat their food that was actually hot when we served it 🥰
We bundled up, covered our ears and served 11 tonight ❤️

Good morning and Happy New Year !
Just a quick post about my little guys-

Between my personal page and my business page, I have multiple folks still asking how they can help support my Bowls of Blessings Ministry (THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH❤️) so I’ve tried to just write down the basic needs and wants of not only them but myself, for them….
This list is standard and pretty much ongoing needs but PLEASE don’t think for a moment that I EXPECT your support ongoing but I certainly APPRECIATE any and all support…..
Any items other than these that you think of or feel like contributing is greatly appreciated -

Guys/Gals…..
PRAYERS
Bottled Water
Propane Gas Tanks (small green ones for Coleman Stoves) for the ones who have them
Small gas cards (for the 3 living in their cars) they run out of gas running the car for heat
Hand held manual can openers
Vienna sausages, beanie wieners
Canned tuna or other meats for protein
Canned soups, stews, chili etc.
Saltine crackers (I like the ones that are 1/2 stacks)
Ramen noodles or cup of noodles- any flavor
Peanut butter crackers
Small jars of peanut butter
Cereal breakfast bars
Snacks of all varieties
Meal replacement shakes (they’re nutritionally balanced)
Apple sauce
Pop tarts
Wet wipes in the XL washcloth size
Travel size toiletries
Medicated powders- small bottles
Toilet tissue- I will break the package down and place in a basket because an entire package will be damp in their tents before they use it all-
Towels/wash cloths
(2 1/2) gallon size ziploc bags for me to divide and package towels/w. Cloths
Batteries for small flashlights (AA/AAA)
Hand /Body warmers (they love the large body ones)
Miniature 1st aide kits (I buy them at Walmart in the travel size supplies)
Nail clippers
13 gallon Garbage bags for their trash
Rain ponchos
Thermal underwear (med/large)
Activity books (crossword etc.)
Soft fruits (oranges, bananas etc)

Me (for them)
PRAYERS
Hot chocolate in canister (we serve this to them every Monday while we’re setting up)
Styrofoam cups (smaller ones)
Prewrapped cutlery
Various salad dressings as we serve salad with their meals almost weekly
Canned vegetables
Cooking staples
Pillow cases for pillows donated that don’t have one on them
Monetary Donations for supplies are ALWAYS welcome and Greatly Appreciated

NOTES-
They typically don’t need actual clothing as they get this from MUST Ministry but do need socks and underwear (med/large)-
We have plenty of pillows in storage for them-
Blankets/comfortors (full size)
Items do not need to be new but I ask that they be clean-
Travel size bottles works best because they have to fit everything in a backpack while they walk but I can break down full size bottles into travel size containers-
Due to certain conditions, we do not allow anyone to accompany us while serving them but appreciate the desire to-
And lastly, due to respect for their privacy, we DO NOT give out their location or details of where they live, only that they do all live in tents (except the 3 living in their cars)

I don’t know of anyone who has more empathy or compassion than I do-
But when one of your little homeless guys looks you straight in the eyes with his crystal blue eyes and says,
“Because of you I ate last week”, I just want to burst into tears right in front of them all 🥹
I totally admit that when I take on something that the Lord leads me in to, I get so passionate about it that I give away pieces of myself and this Ministry to serve our local homeless is the most passionate I’ve been but man my heart hurts when they say stuff like that😔
I thank God constantly for allowing me to serve them……
Now they all hug my neck and tell me that they love me when they get ready to leave but they have no clue just how much I love each and every one of them ❤️
He was talking about the big meal we cooked last week for their Christmas Feast being enough to feed him for not one but 2 nights 😭
Another new one joined us for supplies today and will start coming for a hot meal tomorrow……
We’re up to 15 now in one area
Back seat is full of pillows, blankets, clothes and coats-

Just wanted to jump on here and do an update post-
For everyone wondering about the Christmas Feast for my little homeless group-
I was in touch with them the day of our feast and it was decided that since there was over a 60% chance of rain at the exact time that I would be loading my car and they didn’t necessarily want to walk to our meeting place in the rain and all their stuff be soaking wet by the time they walked back to their tents; that we’d wait until this next week (so it will be this upcoming Tuesday since New Years is on Monday), all donated foods are in the freezer and I’ll be preparing them all day Tuesday ❤️
Second-
I wanted to personally say the biggest THANK YOU to everyone for such an absolutely incredible experience with my Bowls of Blessings Comfort Meals Ministry….
The outpouring of encouragement, support, donations of items and monetary donations for supplies, the prayers for my little group as well as for me, the offers of help, as well as ideas, the offers to pick up donations for me when I’m completely out of free time to go myself, the food that’s been prepared and frozen for me to cook for them, the boxes of food from folks who have moved and instead of taking the pantry full with them they donated to me to cook for my guys, the supporters who’ve committed to ongoing help and even committed to buying groceries for their meals on a regular basis but somehow seem to magically appear with a little something in it for me as well, the certain ones who all I have to do is post a need and they’re on it immediately every time, time and time again……
The outpouring of love from my community of friends, clients and Facebook followers has literally left me in awe-
Donated items have poured in EVERY SINGLE TIME- EVERY SINGLE TIME that I’ve had a need for them, so much so that I’ve struggled to thank each and every one of you each time, so I wanted to just cover my bases with this post…..
I’ve already committed to take this thing just as big as the Lord wants me too in 2024 and I know He’s working through SO many of y’all as my provision providers and there’s just no way to adequately express how truly Blessed I consider myself to have each of you in my life and in this with me to any degree-
You all have Blessed my little guys beyond measure and Blessed me beyond comprehension-
Thank you, each and every one for your amazing selfless expression of love to them and to me and for being such a Blessing…….

Bowls of Blessings Comfort Meals

❤️A little love goes such a long way❤️

It’s easy to love folks that you know-
It’s easy to love folks that you see regularly-
It’s easy to love the “good” folks -
It’s easy to love the folks with money and prestige-
It’s easy to love folks that are good to you-
It’s easy to love those who can repay your admiration and efforts-
It’s easy to love the loveable-
But what about the folks that you’ve never met-
What about the folks that you don’t know whether they’re “good” or not-
What about the folks that have nothing to offer in return-
What about the folks others shun-
What about the folks that’s own won’t love-
What about those folks…….
How do we love them ……
Maybe, just maybe, they are the ones who have the most to offer in return-
They are the ones who don’t “expect” to be loved so they appreciate love on an entirely different level…..
A profoundly deep level, because no one else loves them….
Tonight was amazing with the little homeless group……
I was SO proud when I finished setting up !
Not proud of me, but proud that I have a Lord and Savior that has led me to love those folks and immensely proud of MY COMMUNITY of friends who continue to come through for them through me❤️
Tonight when we finished setting up; my car was still full, I had down the sides of the car lined with baskets and all behind my car was lined…..
When we arrived, the little new guy from the other side of town was the first one there-
While he had our undivided attention, I took the opportunity to give him the shoes and clothes that had been donated just for him…..
As he opened the bag with everything in it his eyes got big with disbelief….
I explained to him that I’d ask and once again, y’all delivered….
He kept saying “I can’t believe someone gave me shoes and clothes”, over and over…..
Then standing there in the cold and wind, he took his plastic slides off and put his new shoes on and sighed out loud- He kept saying how good it would be to not have to be looked at like he was crazy anymore because he didn’t have shoes and that they felt like pillows inside …..
Then he made his way over to the car and kept walking all around the car looking in at everything and saying ,
“Man, I can’t believe this”!
When I gave him his food, he went straight to the hood and stood in the cold and wind and ate 2 plate fulls ❤️
We expected to have a couple new ones tonight but we actually had 4 new ones….
Every one stood right there at our car in the cold and wind drinking hot chocolate and talking like it was 80 degrees outside and then stood there and devoured their supper and even helped us load everything back up to leave…..
How do you love those folks ?????
It’s quite simple, just like y’all are all doing !❤️
Have you ever met them ?
No I’m positive you haven’t…..
Do they still feel our and your love ?
I’m VERY positive that they do !❤️

Bowls of Blessings Comfort Meals

Please forgive me if I post too much about my little homeless group-
I’m just the vessel that the Lord uses to carry the blessings to them and I’m passionate about that and I wholeheartedly feel that the Lord is using each of you who contribute to me (for them) as my source of provision and I sincerely thank each of you for blessing them and me when I encounter so many wanting to help ❤️
I’ve had multiple people reaching out asking if I’ll be doing another holiday feast for them at Christmas like I cooked (with your help) for Thanksgiving…….
The answer is a resounding YES !!!❤️
Due to Christmas scheduling I will be cooking this one time on Tuesday, December 26th.
I do have some monetary contributions but it just doesn’t last long or go far with the crazy prices of everything now so if you’d like to contribute in any way possible, the menu is the same as it was for Thanksgiving and any food donations or monetary donations are greatly appreciated-
Food can be already prepared or I can certainly prepare it myself for you-
Please have any food here by the 23rd….

Some of them have lived in tents for a long time and are accustomed to it during the winter but others are brand new to wintering in a tent and struggling to adapt 😞

When one of your little homeless guys finally starts a new job and text you to tell you to come eat where he works because it’s employee family/friends night and you get to eat free❤️
We were his family/friend that he invited to come🥰🥰🥰

Been out of commission a few days with the flu but wanted to touch base to say a BIG THANK YOU for all the deliveries and drop offs I’ve been getting for my little homeless group this past week in addition to monetary donations and the earlier deliveries -
The packages delivered don’t show who they’re from, only the store they came from, so thanking everyone personally isn’t possible -
I only know this week they’ve come from NY, KY, IN, SC to name just a few as well as local drop offs ❤️
Thank you ALL for following my BOWLS OF BLESSINGS COMFORT MEALS MINISTRY to feed one of our little local homeless groups and your continued support and help in blessing these precious folks❤️

❤️Another amazing night that can only be of God ❤️

We had 11 show up to serve Thanksgiving supper to tonight …..
They were all cold waiting but so excited to get their plates and once again, part of them actually stood right there and ate in this insane wind and cold-
I know their food had to be ice cold standing there in the cold eating it but that didn’t phase them at all🥹
One little guy inhaled his massive plateful and kept lingering around waiting but we didn’t know exactly why until everyone had gotten their plate and he ask if he could have another if there was enough left🥹🥹🥹🥹
Of course I fixed him another one without hesitation and he was so excited to have it to take back to his tent❤️
As I was setting everything up and distributing hot chocolate to warm them up while I finished, I explained to them how I’d opened this meal up for the community to help and that multiple folks had contributed to make this meal happen because we loved them, then one little guy said “it’s good to know that SOMEONE cares”😩😩😩😩
Then during chitchat I ask just how long it’d been since they’d had a real Thanksgiving meal ?
Each one standing there started doing the math and counting , telling how long but one little guy figured it up and he hadn’t had one in 20 years !!!😭
I took a notepad this time for them to write down if they needed anything specific or had any special requests; not knowing what to expect, I just read what they wrote…..
When everyone seems to want EVERYTHING and the most expensive stuff , these little guys literally ask for…
A jar of peanut butter, hard crossword puzzle books, a spiral notebook , m&m’s with pnuts , long underwear, Vienna sausages and waterproof spray for shoe’s ….
Our night was cold and windy but our hearts were warmed with love to do this for them and serve them once again-
We also gained another new one this week 😔
I wish y’all could understand just how blessed these little guys are by all y’all and just how much I appreciate you all !

Tonight’s the Night !!!

This is the night my little homeless group has been looking SO forward to ❤️
I wonder just how long it’s been since each of them actually had a Holiday meal🥹😩😭

Thanks to ALL of y’all who have contributed in any way, they will eat good tonight and until their tummies are full because I’ve restructured my setup and prepackaged their goodie bags to free up enough space to take the entire meal instead of prepared plates/bowls like I’ve been doing……
They’ll still choose their own supplies to go in their bags with all the food items such as beanie wieners, Vienna sausages, canned soups, canned chili, crackers, snacks, bottled water, bottled protein drinks etc.❤️
I can’t wait to see them again !❤️
Ironically, I’m giving them a Thanksgiving meal tonight and the giveaway from Riverstone Bistro that I was nominated for and won, is a free Thanksgiving meal to me❤️
