French doors
- Classic, timeless look
- Wide opening when both doors are in use
- Feels more connected to the outdoors
- Require clearance to swing open
- Can interrupt furniture layouts
- Not always ideal for tighter spaces

Sliding doors
-Clean, minimal look
- Great for saving space (no swing needed)
- Larger glass panels = more consistent natural light
- Only one side opens at a time
- Tracks require occasional maintenance

Both can completely transform how a room connects to the backyard - it really comes down to how you live in the space!
