On Saturday, we were honored to participate in the 31’st Polk Salit Festival at Emory Johnson Park. This event not only served its community with food, games & entertainment but also recognized Toccoa’s local leaders and fallen soldiers.

Lance Corporal Emory F. Johnson was Toccoa’s first African American soldier who was drafted to war in Vietnam; never to return after fatal injuries from a land mine in 1967.

He along with community leaders are celebrated every Memorial Day Weekend for their contributions to our nation and local community.

Please take a moment today to pause in honor of our troops.

Honoring Darla Rae & Donna Arrington (our mothers) today is also honoring ALL the mothers who have beat odds of raising successful black men.

Darla Rae Arthur...The flowers displayed at our events are NOT in memory of, but the PRESENCE of you 🕊. We may have built this business from the ground but your spirit is what keeps it moving. You shine through Quintin (your twin) in every conversation. Everyone can attest to this 😃.

Donna Arrington (Dee Dee)...Entrepreneur & prayer warrior 😉..you are a FORCE to be reckoned with! You keep us grounded, motivated & uplifted daily. Emotions can’t express how much we admire your ability to fill a room with love, laugher & peace.
