Therapists, this one’s for you.

We see the work you do every day. The way you hold space, offer hope, and guide others toward healing. Your efforts don’t go unnoticed.

But beyond that, we hope you know how much you matter—not just to your clients, but to the communities you anchor. The ripple effects of your work extend further than you realize, creating a foundation of care and connection that touches countless lives.

As you move through this season, we hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on your impact and practice gratitude for yourself—your efforts, your growth, and the way you continue to show up, even when it’s hard.

You are appreciated. You are needed. And we’re so grateful for you.

If you needed this reminder today, let us know in the comments. And if there’s a therapist you admire, tag them to share the love.

Building community doesn’t have to feel overwhelming—it starts with small, intentional steps that align with your values and passions.

✨ Host a workshop to bring people together.
✨ Collaborate with colleagues to expand your reach.
✨ Dive into projects that serve your community’s needs.
✨ Volunteer your expertise where it matters most.
✨ Use social media as a bridge to connection.

Every effort, no matter how small, strengthens the fabric of your practice and your community. These connections ripple outward, creating a more supportive, compassionate world for the people we serve.

Which of these ideas speaks to you the most? Have you tried any of them before? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences! ⬇️

If you’re here, you’re probably building a private practice—or dreaming about it! But navigating all the “rules” can feel like running a marathon… in quicksand. Let’s take five of the biggest myths we hear about managing and marketing private practices, toss them out, and replace them with practical advice you can actually use. 💪

Hey, therapists! If you’re reading this, you’re probably dreaming of running a thriving private practice without the constant headaches of management, marketing, and growth (or, you’re just here to procrastinate a little...

As therapists, we’re used to being the support system for so many, but sometimes we forget to tune in to what we might need. If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, isolated, or just “off,” take a moment with this quick quiz to check in on the kind of support that could help you most right now:

1️⃣ Feeling isolated? Maybe some peer support could help — a chance to connect with others who understand the unique weight of this work.

2️⃣ Feeling unsure about a challenging case? Supervision or consultation might provide that added layer of insight or reassurance you’re needing.

3️⃣ Feeling drained? This may be your reminder to prioritize some self-care, even in small ways, to refill your own well-being.

🌱 However you’re feeling, you’re not alone. Let me know what resonates most, either in the comments or through a message. I’d love to share some gentle resources that could bring a bit more ease to your days.

Right now many of us are seeking extra support or wanting to find ways to get involved to support others in our community. This Community Care Toolkit was created with therapists, clients, and communities in mind — providing a list of organizations that offer help, advocacy, and guidance for those who may feel vulnerable or underserved.

Whether you're a therapist seeking resources for clients, or someone looking for support yourself, we hope these organizations can serve as a place to turn.

Swipe through to explore each resource. And if you know of other organizations that should be on this list, please share them in the comments. We want to keep this list as comprehensive and community-centered as possible. For a full PDF version with clickable links to every organization, feel free to download it for free from the link below.

Let’s talk about the magic of follow-ups. 🌱 Whether you’re connecting after a conference, following up on a conversation, or rekindling a relationship with an old contact, how you follow up matters. It’s not just a task; it’s a chance to leave a lasting impression and keep connections alive. 🌐 In our latest blog, “5 Steps + A Quick Quiz to Find Your Follow-Up Style,” we’re diving deep into what makes each follow-up style unique—and how to make it work for you.

As we navigate these challenging times together, it’s important to remember that even small moments of care can make a difference. 🌱 Whether it’s a moment of mindfulness, reaching out to a colleague, or getting creative to process emotions, there are so many ways we can support ourselves and each other.

💬 Poll Question: What coping strategies are helping you right now?

1️⃣ Mindfulness practices
2️⃣ Peer support and connection
3️⃣ Creative outlets (art, music, writing)
4️⃣ Taking breaks and setting boundaries

Let’s support each other with ideas and encouragement — you’re not alone in this. 💙

To all the therapists, counselors, and mental health providers out there — I want to take a moment to acknowledge what so many of us are feeling right now. The recent election has left many of us, and our clients, navigating a complicated web of emotions: anxiety, fear, frustration, and deep sorrow.

In a field where we hold space for others, it’s often easy to put our own needs on the back burner. But let’s be real: this is a heavy time, and these emotions aren’t something we can (or should) ignore. It’s okay to feel uncertain, to feel heartbroken, and to feel that weight. You’re not alone in this, and it’s okay if you’re struggling to find clarity or hope right now.

As we continue to support our clients, our communities, and each other, let’s also make space to support ourselves. I invite you to share how you’re holding up — whether that’s here in the comments or through a DM if that feels more comfortable. Let’s create a space where we can all lean in and lift each other up.

💬 What are you feeling today? What’s weighing on your heart?

This is a community that understands, and together, we can find a way forward. 💙

Your website should be helping you attract clients, not driving them away! 🚪💻 If you're not seeing results, it could be due to these common (and easily fixable!) mistakes.

Here are 4 key website errors that might be costing you clients:

Unclear Call-to-Action: Make it super easy for clients to know their next step.
Slow Load Speed: A slow site can quickly turn clients away.
Outdated Info: Keep your services and contact info current.
Too Much Jargon: Speak your clients' language, not therapist-speak! Keep it simple and relatable.
Let’s schedule a free website audit to ensure your site is working for you, not against you!
