I am Blessed to have received my liver and kidney transplant two days before Christmas I will be taking these medicines for the rest of my life. I'm so excited to announce that Moonshiners bar and grill in Grayson Georgia will be holding a fundraising poker tournament to benefit my Georgia Transplant Foundation account for my post transplant expenses. The tournament will begin at 1:00 I do not have all the details yet but there will be a great prize pool for you poker players. I went down to the Mason Transplant clinic at Piedmont on Monday for labs and a regular check in. Dr says I'm very very close to getting my donor! Please pray ( and donate!)

My fund raising account ends when I receive the transplant or max out at $10,000. At first the end was Nov 30th but because of Covid , I have gotten an extension to February.
Lady week they called me and had a donor but it turned out to be a false alarm. The good news is, that I'm very, very close now.
If you can donate any amount, the GA Transplant Foundation will match it 100%>
It means so much, as I will be on anti- rejection drugs the rest of my life. With the uncertainty of things in our country right now, I don't know how long I will have the medical insurance that I currently have.

If you can donate ANY amount, please do. I'm so close to getting my transplant. Those anti- rejection drugs are not cheap and I'll be on them for the rest of my life. The pharmacy will directly bill my account, so I won't be dispursing the funds, myself. And The Georgia Transplant Foundation will match your donation 100% if it is before my surgery. Thank you! 💙

Hello friends! Just an update and a request. I'll be starting dialysis in the next couple weeks. My kidney function is down to 8%. The good news is, that will move me to the #1 spot on the O blood type transplant list.
As we all know, anti-rejection drugs are extremely expensive. That's where the GTF comes in! They will match any donation you make, big or small, 100%. If you can spare a few dollars it would go twice as far and John and I will be so appreciative.
