We’ve come to realize that many women are not aware of their hormone levels, and that’s understandable because most of the time this is not fully investigated until there is something traumatic or alarming happening within the body. We want to encourage you to get your blood tests run to understand not only estrogen/progesterone levels, but your androgen levels as well, which can signify any issues with blood sugar or testosterone, or even issues regarding PCOS. This can also lead a to lack of menstrual periods (amenorrhea) if not treated.

There are many steps that you can take in your approach to mental wellness, and we hope that you all are finding your way to a peaceful, healing space full of clarity. Whether that is is getting outside more, spirituality, exercise, change in diet, a change in the manner that you communicate to yourself and others, etc. Self improvement, therapy, time/patience, and grace is often needed!

Gas, bloat, and gastritis have all been questions of subject for quite some time! As allergies associated with gluten, dairy, nuts, etc, become ever so present, the need to combat the feelings of gas and common stomach irritation is surely needed…

We’ve included some yummy fruits that could stop the uncomfortable feeling of gas or maybe even alleviate some digestion disruption… We also know the importance of blood sugar and diabetes, therefore, all of the fruits that we selected are low in sugar. Natural sugars obtained from fruits are high in fiber, which can reduce blood sugar spikes. However, please be mindful of your body and the things that you’re consuming, especially as you get older, the body tends to change how it breaks down food, and more so how our bodies respond to it can often differ with age. Nonetheless, we’re hoping that the suggestions provided will help you with your daily eating habits!

As we conclude our sequence on reproductive health, we implore you to check out Part 3 of our series. We had the pleasure of chatting with our CEO in a very candid conversation, Jacobs shared her journey of dealing with the physical and emotional toll of fibroids, and how she overcame it with resilience and determination.
