Fulton County Women, Infants, & Children Program - WIC

Fulton County Women, Infants, & Children Program - WIC WIC provides nutritious foods to supplement diets as well as information on healthy eating & referrals to healthcare.

The mission of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is to safeguard the health of low-income families by providing wholesome, nourishing food, health education, and referrals to address additional medical needs. This federal program was created to reduce food insecurity and help to establish good habits which are vital for adequate child growth and development. If parents or guardians meet the criteria for financial eligibility, the following candidates could be covered:

Infants and children ages 1-to-5 years (including foster children)
Pregnant women (through pregnancy and up to 6 weeks after birth or after pregnancy ends)
Breastfeeding mothers (during the child’s first year)
Non-breastfeeding postpartum women (up to 6 months after the birth of an infant or after pregnancy ends)
