I am profoundly grateful for the life-changing experience I had during the 2024 Atlanta Doula Collective Birth Work Mission Trip.
It was an unparalleled gift to sit with the indigenous Mayans on their reserve, witnessing firsthand how they harmoniously live off the rich land and forest.
Their connection to the earth and their sustainable way of life were both humbling and inspiring.
Sitting with the village granny midwife was a moment I will forever cherish; her ancestral knowledge and wisdom, passed down through generations, were shared with such grace and depth.
