🎖️ Honoring Purple Heart Day 🎖️

Today, we pay tribute to the brave men and women who have been awarded the Purple Heart Medal, a decoration given to those who were wounded or killed while serving in the U.S. military, starting on April 5, 1917.

Since its inception in 1932, it's estimated that 1.8 million soldiers have received this medal, including retroactive awards for those who served during World War I.

💡 Fun Fact: The Purple Heart is the oldest military award still presented to American servicemen and women today, symbolizing courage, sacrifice, and dedication. 🇺🇸
