At Gateway Community LLC, our mission is to provide high-quality, professional respite care for children and young adults, including individuals with special needs. We are dedicated to supporting families and tailoring care to their specific needs. Now, we’re extending that mission by asking our community to rally behind this family in need.

I am proud to announce that this year, GCC will be one of the providers for free Virtual Disability Resource Fair on April 17th!!!

There will be several knowledgeable providers including: Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC) , Parent to Parent of Georgia, FOCUS, Inspire Pediatric Neurology, disABILITY LINK, Propel Autism, and Harmony House Day Program. You’ll receive free resources, parent support and there’s GIVEAWAYS! Bring your questions and get answers!

April is autism awareness month!!!

Research shows that some kids begin to exhibit some of the earliest signs of autism BEFORE 1 years old. Based on CDC reports, 1 in 44 children are being diagnosed with autism, with boys being 4 times more likely to be diagnosed than girls. Early identification leads to early intervention

We had the pleasure of hosting 6 families for the holiday season. During this time, each family was nominated by their community to receive various gifts prepared for their individual needs. All families were given gifts of things they specifically asked for while others received sponsored meals, gift cards, and free respite care services! I want to think my team , specifically .s.gillis for taking the time to shop and arrange all the gifts for the families. As the founder, I had the pleasure of traveling to each families home to spend quality time with them and drop off their things. It was amazing to watch the smiles on their faces as they lit up with excitement. They were so grateful and I was thankful to be in the position to give and make someone else’s life a little easier. Thank you to all those that donated, the holiday giveaway was a success. As we close out this year, I pray you all have what you need going into the new year. GCC is now preparing to continue providing respite care services in 2022. Happy Holiday and Happy New Year ✨
