I was 24 when The Princess and the Frog came out — not a kid anymore, but seeing a Black princess still meant everything. And I remember being so excited for little Black girls who’d grow up seeing her as normal… as possible. 👑

What made it even sweeter? Princess Tiana was voiced by Anika Noni Rose — a fellow FAMU grad — and she even spoke at my sister’s graduation back in 2010. Full-circle moment. 💚🧡

So this drop feels personal.

My Wax Slingin’ Journey!

It's been 2 years since I took the leap on this wax slinging journey and I DON'T REGRET A SINGLE THING! Scentsy came into my life at just the right time. I was laid off my job a week into my Scentsy journey. Opportunities present themselves at the perfect moment, even when you do not see it that way at the time! Scentsy showed up for me and I haven't looked back, I only continue to look forward! Not only has joining Scentsy helped me support myself (especially during hardships), but it has made me realize that I should not be working for anyone, BUT MYSELF and that is what Scentsy is helping me do. It is also brought traveling back into my life like I never imagined! I have been able to take a dream vacation to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic off my list and I will soon be crossing of a 7-Day Mediterranean Cruise off the list as well (mind you I have never been on a cruise in my life and this will be FREE and taking me to places I never thought I would be able to afford to visit for the first time or again). I am a Military Brat (my dad was Navy) therefore, I love to travel! Scentsy has brought so many wonderful people into my life that I can call lifelong friends/family. It is a community of giving and continuous support. I have grown as a person since becoming a consultant, I am more outgoing, I'm laughing more, smiling more, dreaming more, I have more confidence in my abilities and talents. I AM SOARING and I do not plan on ever stopping.

There is so much more that I can say about my journey and what Scentsy has done for me, BUT I want to hear what you want your journey to look like and how Scentsy can be that life changing opportunity for you.
