This distinguished cohort includes leaders from community-based nonprofits, workforce boards, state agencies, and private consulting firms—each bringing valuable expertise to our shared mission of advancing workforce development.

L-MAX is a premier leadership development program designed to equip emerging workforce leaders with the tools, insights, and networks necessary to drive meaningful change. Over the next year, we will engage in transformative experiences, including retreat-style workshops, field immersions, and service-learning initiatives, all aimed at strengthening our collective impact.

I am excited to collaborate with this incredible group of leaders, contribute to the future of workforce development, and build solutions that create lasting opportunities. The work ahead is important, and I look forward to making a difference—together.

JUST SHOW-UP: Today, Americans Thrive participated in the City of Atlanta Government Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) Job Fair.

Despite the last-minute invitation, I quickly made plans to attend to ensure our young people receive the information they need to excel in school and their job search.

It was truly inspiring to see the excitement and potential in each of the over 200 youths we connected with.

YOUTH SNEAKER BRUNCH: Empowering Youth with Rights Education

Last weekend, Americans Thrive and Almost Lost In The System Incorporated joined forces as participants at the Youth Sneakerhead Event. At our vendor table, we provided educational literature for young girls and boys, equipping them with essential knowledge about their rights, criminal law, civil law, and guidance on how to assess whether someone has committed a crime.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Almost Lost In The System Incorporated's Founder, Hildiah Martin-Suggs, for generously providing gifts to all the youth in attendance.

It brings us immense joy to witness the happiness of these young boys and girls as they gain valuable insights into their rights and the legal system.
