Basically I finished school at one of the most renowned massage therapy schools in the country just over three years ago. However I continued with my full time employment in the service industry until August, 2009 when I lost my employment. The job market not being what it once was, and suddenly being thrown in the deep end I decided to take a chance and give this training I worked so hard at a chance to earn a living for me. Recently I have decided that although I do love working as a masseur, there are obvious limitations to massage as a full time career. Most obvious is the shelf life of a masseur. There are several factors that contribute to the career length of any masseur, first of all marketability, as a masseur gets older he loses much of the marketability that he once enjoyed. Another factor would be physical wear and tear. Massage is hard on the masseur, there are only so many massages that an individual has in him each day, week, etc... With that in mind I started working on my bachelor’s of science in Web Design and Development. I am doing my entire degree online to allow for maximum availability to my clientele. I truly love working as a massage therapist, it allows me to interact with people, which I enjoyed immensely working in my former profession, but without all the other stuff that can get in the way of truly enjoying the people that you are trying to serve. To keep my rates as low as possible I opted to work out of my home, where I have allotted a very private and relaxing space for you to enjoy your massage. Whether looking for therapeutic pain management, or just a relaxing break from the mundane I am available to meet your needs.
