Did y'all know that April is Stress Awareness month? This time of year can be stressful for a lot off us with it being Spring time and our kids are getting ready for tests and exams while also being ready for school to be out for the summer.

As parents and adults we are busy trying to get our family trips planed and organized; trying to keep our homes cleaned and kids/husbands in order, so we forget to put our own needs first and then that can cause more stress on us in the long run which unfortunately means more stress on our loved ones. It is not selfish to put your needs first so make sure you take some time for yourself.

Here a few activities you can do for yourself (spirit, mind and body):
~Practice meditation
~Reflect on your values
~Practice gratitude
~Attend a spiritual retreat
~Swim
~Hike
~Cuddle a pet
~Send a thoughtful message
~Read spiritual texts
~Do yoga
~Journal your thoughts
~Take a bubble bath
~Organize your space
~Engage in creative activities
