👋🏼 Say hello to our newest speech therapist, Skye! 🌟💚💛 She loves creating art, going on hikes with her dogs, rocking out at concerts, and playing card games with friends. 🎨🐾🎶

She’s fascinated by the brain and human behavior 🧠, can sing the alphabet backwards (yes, really! 🎵), and her ultimate comfort food is… macaroni and cheese 😋.

Her favorite part about working with kids? Their pure honesty, creativity, and playful spirit ❤️. We’re so excited to have Skye on our team helping children shine! 💚💛

🌟Meet Claudia!🌟 💻📞 We’re so excited to welcome her to the team 💚💛

Not only has she been keeping things running smoothly around here, but it’s also her BIRTHDAY WEEK 🎉🎂 So of course we had to celebrate with a little balloon surprise 🎈🥳

Here’s a few fun facts to help you get to know her! 👇
🛍️ In her free time, Claudia loves online shopping and thrifting with her boyfriend.
🍗 Her go-to comfort food? CFA or Touchdown wings with fried rice (a true Georgia classic!)
☕ Fuel of choice: a Venti Iced White Mocha with vanilla cold foam and extra caramel drizzle 😋
🌊 Her perfect weekend getaway is either chilling on the beach or cozying up in a Gatlinburg cabin.
📱 One thing that always makes her smile? Video calls with her family back in Peru 🇵🇪💛

🗣️ Little voices are learning every day! 💛💚 Some sounds, like p, m, and w, come early, while trickier ones like z, v, and th take a little more time! ⏳✨ Most kids master most sounds by age 4, but if your little one is having trouble being understood, they might have a speech sound disorder—sometimes called an articulation or phonological disorder.

At this age, your little one is starting to find their voice and share more with the world! 🎉 Here are some exciting communication milestones to look out for:

🔑 Word Combinations: Your child might start using simple word combinations like “big dog” or “more juice!” 🐕🍊
🔑 Plurals: They may begin saying plurals like “birds” 🦜 or “toys” 🧸!
🔑 -ing Verbs: Watch out for words like “eating” 🍽️ and “running” 🏃!
🔑 Past Tense: You might hear them say “looked” 👀 or “played” 🧩 as they talk about past actions!
🔑 Why & How Questions: Get ready for all those “why?” and “how?” questions! 🤔💬
