September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! And as many of you know, this is a cause that hits close to home. My daughter, Noa, was diagnosed with leukemia last summer. This September, we are GOING GOLD for Noa! My husband and I are selling t-shirts for Noa to raise awareness for childhood cancer!

T-shirts are $25 and will be available to be picked up at the office, or I can ship for an additional $5.

It is with a lot of excitement I am here to announce that Tortuga Massage will be re-opening July 15th, 2025.

First of all, I would like to personally thank everyone for your continued support and prayers over the last year for my daughter, Noa, and her leukemia diagnosis. She is currently in a phase known as "Long Term Maintenance" and will be until late 2026. While her battle is not over, her care team has given to go ahead for me to integrate back into the work field.

While we get back into the swing of things and revamp and reopen, please bare with us. We will have temporary hours for the summer, and will go back to our regular hours once we get into the Fall.

This is a reminder that Tortuga Massage is currently closed temporarily due to my daughter’s leukemia diagnosis. She is still in her intensive phases of chemo and in the hospital 1-2xs a week, and I will be staying home with her until her frontline ends. Especially with cold and flu season now upon us.

If needed, I can recommend other wonderful massage therapists in the area.

I promise, I will make an announcement with emails, texts, and social media posts when I am re-opening.

After conferring with Noa’s doctors about the next phase of her treatment and what all it requires, Tortuga Massage will be closing temporarily while she enters her intensive phase of treatment.

I will be finishing up any of the massages currently already on the schedule for August and I can refer you out to some amazing LMTs in the mean time if you need a massage while I am out.

I really, sincerely appreciate all of your continued support as I take time to be with my daughter. I will keep you updated via our page.
