It is with a lot of excitement I am here to announce that Tortuga Massage will be re-opening July 15th, 2025.

First of all, I would like to personally thank everyone for your continued support and prayers over the last year for my daughter, Noa, and her leukemia diagnosis. She is currently in a phase known as "Long Term Maintenance" and will be until late 2026. While her battle is not over, her care team has given to go ahead for me to integrate back into the work field.

While we get back into the swing of things and revamp and reopen, please bare with us. We will have temporary hours for the summer, and will go back to our regular hours once we get into the Fall.

This is a reminder that Tortuga Massage is currently closed temporarily due to my daughter’s leukemia diagnosis. She is still in her intensive phases of chemo and in the hospital 1-2xs a week, and I will be staying home with her until her frontline ends. Especially with cold and flu season now upon us.

If needed, I can recommend other wonderful massage therapists in the area.

I promise, I will make an announcement with emails, texts, and social media posts when I am re-opening.

After conferring with Noa’s doctors about the next phase of her treatment and what all it requires, Tortuga Massage will be closing temporarily while she enters her intensive phase of treatment.

I will be finishing up any of the massages currently already on the schedule for August and I can refer you out to some amazing LMTs in the mean time if you need a massage while I am out.

I really, sincerely appreciate all of your continued support as I take time to be with my daughter. I will keep you updated via our page.

Thank you for all of your continued patience and support as we navigate our daughter's diagnosis and figure out her treatment plans.

Noa will be in intensive treatment for, at minimum, the next 6 months, and she will be in more intensive treatment until the beginning of August.

Because of her treatment plan, we will no longer be taking clients on Wednesdays for the time being. To help combat some of the inconvenience this may cause, starting August 12th I will be extending hours on Tuesday and Thursday until 5:30pm.

I am currently reaching out to everyone I had to reschedule during our hospital stay. If I have not contacted you yet, please reach out to me via Facebook, email, or text.
I sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.

My plan is to remain open as much as possible during her intensive treatment, but please know things are subject to change at a moment's notice and I will do my best to accommodate everyone.

Hello all.

Thank you for your support and understanding during the last week. It has been a whirlwind to say the least.

I will be out of the office this coming week (July 15th-19th) as we are hopefully discharged from the hospital and figure out my daughter's treatment schedule.

I sincerely appreciate all of the support and understanding you have given me for the week. As soon as I know her treatment schedule, I will have a better understanding of what Tortuga's hours will look like in the future.

An emergency has taken place in my family and I will not be back in office or available to answer phone calls or text messages for the rest of this week.

Without going into too many details, my daughter has been diagnosed with Leukemia. While her prognosis is good considering her diagnosis, we are taking time as a family to process and get a better understanding as to what our next steps are.

I sincerely appreciate your understanding and thoughts and prayers at this time. Please know that I will reach out to reschedule any cancelled appointments within the next few days when we have a better understanding of treatment plan.
